PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
The role aims at leading and coordinating a wide range of supply chain projects:
(1) End-to-end supply chain projects,
(2) Coordinating new product initiatives between market and operations,
(3) Conducting analysis / reporting and
(4) Coordinating local / regional / global strategy/system deployments.
He/She identifies and drives improvement of functional KPIs (e.g. product availability at the market, customer service level, cost to serve, net working capital, etc.) through projects (e.g. process optimization, digitalization, B2C network, etc.). He/She provides a bridge between the operations and commercial functions enabling technical product info, manufacturing features to be translated at the market side enabling route to market with best product design and portfolio, optimum COGS and on-time IMS.
? Strategy Setting and Alignment. Translate global and regional Supply Chain OGSM at local level into tactical plans; coordinate site master plan preparation processes, track status of the initiatives, define gaps and identify needs for improvement.
? Continuous Improvement. Drive the continuous improvement across the entire supply chain, deploy globally driven performance management and improvement concepts (e.g. OPEN+), and digitalize planning, logistics and warehousing processes in close collaboration with central functions, in order to ensure optimal business performance. Ensure full visibility of E2E supply chain network in terms of inventory levels, developing systems and tools for timely recognition of Out-of-Stock of potential LOGD exposure.
? Project Management. Lead complex and impactful cross-functional projects, drive digital transformation with close collaboration with local IS and global functions. Establish regular weekly / monthly platform between relevant stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, PPMD, Legal, CA and Supply Chain), to regularly follow up Projects’ status and execution.
? Coordinate new product initiation (NPI) processes (i.e. feasibility, justification, prototyping, testing, artwork design, approval phases, etc.) between Marketing and PPMD and ensure timely product availability at the market. Support Regional Management in timely reacting to regulatory changes impacting product design, format, components etc.
? Reporting and KPIs. Monitor the implementation of regular reporting and KPI's related to budget, cost control and process performance for all Customer Services processes in order to guarantee the total control of the operation.
? Knowledge and training. Ensure development standards (e.g. trainings, induction programs, on-the-job learning opportunities, etc.) per position are in place to fit any skill gap of people vs. position qualifications. Improve organization by introducing new processes, structures based on evolving business and organizational requirements.
? People and Career Management.Manage, motivate and direct the team to ensure the team objectives are continuously met. Improve the performance of the team by setting clear objectives, reviewing achievements and providing development opportunities to maximize organizational and individual capabilities. Support the PMI Transformation through development of organizational capabilities and RRP know-how, building the foundation for multi-category supply chain organization.
? Standard, Improvement Processes and Systems
? In collaboration with COE the preparation, deployment, and utilization of the PMI standard for all activities.
? Develop and implement standards working procedures, operating guidelines & systems
? Drive the drumbeat process and ensure adherence to it
? Actively participate or initiate improvement programs; evaluate, analyse, and implement alternatives; in order to improve consumers (internal and external) service levels at optimal cost.
? Relentlessly look for and explore any opportunities by keeping abreast of new industry/technological development applicable to supply chain and maintain a strong and regular communication with PMI and other affiliates.
? Take a leadership role in pioneering, testing and proposing new opportunities and when succesful ensure the sharing across PM
? Degree in engineering, mathematics / data analytics, business administration, economics, computer sciences.
? Master's degree is a plus.
? APICS certification is an asset.
? Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Sales function with exposure to a multinational environment, preferably within a FMCG company.
? Exposure to people management of 3 years or more.
? Project management experience is a plus
