Ultimately, by delivering our smoke-free future, your work could change the lives of a billion smokers. Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. for the Smoke-Free Products at electronic hub (eHUB). You will manage direct materials supplier qualification according to the established process, requirements and contract agreements. Ensure audit planning, execution and follow up. Perform and analyze performance monitoring and trigger the adequate actions according to results. Responsibilities • Qualify direct materials supplier according to the established risk and requirements. Coordinate the qualification according to business owners and requestors needs. • Monitor quality supplier performance based on related Key Performance Indicators to ensure compliance and sustainability seeking for continuous improvement. • Contribute to define and maintain overall supplier qualification process. Develop and maintain documentation related to direct materials supplier qualification, in accordance with PMI and external requirements and ensure adequate traceability. • Establish audit programs for direct materials suppliers ensuring an accurate audit scheduling, adherence and execution to verify conformance with standards and follow up of actions. • Collaborate with key business partners (Procurement, Compliance, R&D, etc.) on direct materials suppliers competences following a risk based approach. • Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by management, and implement adequate processes to ensure the safeguarding of information of a confidential nature Who we’re looking for • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Process Engineering/ Material Engineering • 5-8 years of experience in Material qualification / suppliers qualification in electronics or medical device industries • Excellent knowledge in chemical/ material/ toxicological qualification process • Good command of English is a must What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
