By establishing end to end (E2E) synchronized and digitally enabled supply chain and working towards Manufacturing of Future (MoF) ambition we fuel PMI’s vision of a smoke-free future! Now, we are looking for OPEN+ Pillar Activation Managers who will work in İzmir and be responsible for OPEN+ phase progression in PMI’s Philsa Operations team. Our future team members will help our business model development separately on two areas: - Flawless deployment of Manufacturing of Future (MoF) program in Philsa - Strong establishment of E2E synchronized and digitally enabled supply chain for Philsa Both areas require Lean/IWS/TPM/WCM background for directly or indirectly leading, motivating, coaching, and developing many people in organization to maximize performance and meet business needs. Close collaboration with Global Functions is also crucial to succeed in those areas which might bring some international career opportunities as well for our future team members. Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of both areas: The first area requires deep understanding on digital transformation of a manufacturing facility. So, candidates for this area must have high ambition and enough capability to • Set the direction for Philsa Manufacturing of the Future by defining at least 3 years masterplan • Identify the process and capability improvement areas to eliminate losses • Define the requirements that new digital and technical solutions need to fulfill • Create the right digital and technical solutions to eliminate the identified losses • Define the required competencies and organizational structure to make the new solutions come to life • Pilot new tools and processes to provide a proof of concept and value • Develop deployment guidelines to ensure efficient reapplication and scaling • Implement or reapply the solutions as part of the OPEN+ phase progression • Embrace the new solutions and ensure they unlock their full potential • Eliminate the losses Second area requires supply network pillar experience and supply chain background. So, candidates for this area must be passionate and capable to drive Philsa E2E supply chain synchronization journey with all supply chain key players by helping them to: • Have the right choices to enable delivery of perfect balance of Service, Inventory and Cost. • Build & accelerate sustainable, scalable Supply Network capabilities • Enable profitable growth through an agile supply network establishment • Boost customer and consumer centric spirit of the site • Define a clear site and market operating strategy • Identify E2E losses via Value Stream Mapping (VSM) approach • Pilot new tools and processes to provide a proof of concept and value • Develop deployment guidelines to ensure efficient reapplication and scaling • Implement or reapply the solutions as part of the OPEN+ phase progression • Embrace the new solutions and ensure they unlock their full potential • Eliminate the losses This position can be something for you if you recognize yourself in the below profile. You: • Hold a university degree • Have at least 6-10 years of experience on either Digital Transformation or Supply Network • Have practical hands-on experience on Lean/IWS/TPM/WCM processes and tools • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention for detail • Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner At Philip Morris International, employee health and safety are our top priority.
