HR Business Partner

Job: Manager People and culture PMI’s Over the past three years, Philip Morris International (PMI) has made a dramatic pivot away from the marketing and sales of combustible cigarettes, and moved towards its Reduced-Risk Product (RRP) portfolio, focusing on its flagship product, IQOS. This product is PMI’s step forward to creating a “smoke-free future” for legal age consumers who continue to enjoy tobacco, but are seeking smoke-free alternatives. All of this has been accompanied by an organization-wide transformation in ways of working, culture and strategy. We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as Manager People and Culture to work with both PMI UK and our London Hub. Reporting directly to the People and Culture Director of our UK Hub, you will act as a Strategic business partner of functional counterparts within the UK Hub with a focus on building functional organisational plans to address anticipated organisational capability needs and ensure sustainable talent pipeline for the functions; Role model of culture and leadership, and active supporter of learning and development for the functional areas in scope. In this role, you will: - Define the P&C Strategy & Functional Plans for the respective functions in scope - Define functional organisational plans & KPIs in line with the cluster P&C Internal Transformation roadmap and global initiatives - Act as a trusted business partner by being savvy in terms of functional scope and actively providing inputs on functional specific needs and priorities • Ensure that Talent Acquisition Approach addresses needs of the respective functions in scope: - Ensure the adequate functional staffing in co-operation with TA team for all grades and contract types, while controlling the demand, quality and timeliness of fulfillment - Support recruitment activities by briefing relevant TA partners and running interviews when required - Liaise with Hiring Managers and TA/P&C Ops teams for overall coordination and capability building (assessment skills, induction/onboarding, etc.) • Ensure that Developmental offer addresses functional developmental needs - Develop and implement organizational development plans to achieve a solid functional talent pipeline in the collaboration with LLC team and functional capability building teams - Ensure that cluster ED offer is fully leveraged by the functions and integrated with functional trainings that address individual / team developmental needs • Role Model of Culture and Leadership behaviours - Deploy the relevant enablers and tools to ensure awareness, understanding and adoption of leadership behaviours - Assess and measure if the culture is evolving in the right direction versus the internal transformation roadmap agree with the supported function - Establish Synergies, Collaboration & Continuous Improvements within and outside of the hub and specifically with the functional counterparts in OC • Actively support Organizational Effectiveness of supported functions - Support effective and efficient functional organizational design, suggest & facilitate reviews - Run Change Management activities for function specific organizational changes with the collaboration with Organization Effectiveness and transformation teams - Facilitate the definition of functional specific plans to identify and improve selected focus areas, incl Employee Engagement and motivational drivers to shape the desired culture • Oversee P&C Operational Activities and P&C Global Processes: - Support functional line managers to use the right tools in selected events of the employee life cycle (new hires, moves and terminations of employment contracts; employee/labour relation and/or compliance issues, etc.) and programs to ensure organizational development of their teams - Facilitate local Performance & Talent Management reviews for the respective functions in scope to review the progress of the organizational plans; Provide inputs & feedback to the P&C Global Functional representatives and ensure that agreed critical actions/moves are supported & executed Philip Morris International: Building a Smoke-Free Future Philip Morris International (PMI) is leading a transformation in the tobacco industry to create a smoke-free future and ultimately replace cigarettes with smoke-free products to the benefit of adults who would otherwise continue to smoke, society, the company and its shareholders.
