Here at Philip Morris in Türkiye, which consists of Philip Morris Tütün Mamulleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (PMTM), which handles Operations, and Philip Morris Pazarlama ve Satış A.Ş. (PMPS), which handles Commercial, we are transforming our business by fundamentally changing how we operate to enable our employees and partners to deliver their best work in a way that suits them.

We are making history by digitizing the vast majority of our commercial operations, as well as the conventional retail channel, with 95 percent of these activities now being carried out through our digital platform.

Located in Torbalı, İzmir, PMTM is currently one of the country’s largest production facilities, covering 640,000m2. With its nearly 1,200 employees, PMTM produces more than 200 different products for the Turkish market and more than 20 export markets. PMTM houses our Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, People and Culture, Quality, Product Development, and External Affairs departments. At this factory, in line with our worldwide approach, we have been transforming our production operations with the Operational Excellence Integrated Management (OPEN+) System since 2017. This system is a five-phase transformation program including the preparation phase. It is a new operating system that increases productivity with zero loss, zero error and 100 percent employee ownership. It focuses on making our manufacturing operations completely safe, sustainable, and efficient.

The PMPS headquarters, located in Üsküdar, Istanbul, houses our Commercial (Marketing, Sales, Digital), Information Technologies, People and Culture, External Affairs, Business Development and Planning, Finance, and Legal departments.
