Lausanne, March 2 2016 - Philip Morris International today announces the appointment of Laure Thibaud as Vice President Communications. In her role, Laure will lead the global communications function, covering both internal and external communications, and across both traditional and digital channels.

Before joining PMI, Laure was Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications at Sanofi Group. She was a member of the Sanofi Global Leadership Team, member of the Women’s Leadership Council and a Board member of the Sanofi Foundation. She led a number of core strategic projects including the rebranding of the company.
Prior to Sanofi, Laure was Executive Vice President, Communications and Sustainable Development at AXA Group. Previously, from 1990 to 2007, she held various communications positions at Glaxo SmithKline culminating in the role of Vice President, External Affairs, Pharmaceuticals Europe.
