IQOS is the leading brand in Philip Morris International's portfolio of innovative heated tobacco products, also known as heat-not-burn products.

Millions of adult smokers have already switched to IQOS heated tobacco products and stopped smoking. Following on from our IQOS ORIGINALS blade tobacco heating system, our newer IQOS ILUMA induction tobacco heating system is our most advanced smoke-free product.

We also market the latest addition to our smoke-free products portfolio, BONDS by IQOS, along with lil SOLID Ez and lil HYBRID, both introduced by IQOS*.

Thanks to sophisticated electronics, our IQOS heated tobacco products heat specially designed heated tobacco units, without combustion, fire, ash, or smoke. This generates a flavorful nicotine-containing vapor, releasing the taste of heated tobacco.

Since there is no burning, the levels of harmful chemicals are significantly reduced compared to cigarette smoke, but it is important to remember that our heated tobacco products are not risk-free and deliver nicotine, which is addictive.

* As per the global collaboration agreement between PMI & KT&G, first announced in January 2020—PMI will distribute, outside of Korea, a variety of heated tobacco systems from the KT&G portfolio. After three years of successful collaboration, PMI announced arrangements to extend and deepen the collaboration with KT&G in January 2023. The agreements provide long-term exclusive rights for PMI to commercialize KT&G’s innovative smoke-free products outside of South Korea. The trademark license agreement covers fifteen years, to January 29, 2038, with performance-review cycles and associated commitments, based on volume, to be confirmed for each three-year period, to allow flexibility for evolving market conditions.
