Last month we achieved the Gender Equality Certification, which represents a new milestone in our path of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This recognition reflects our commitment to ensuring equal treatment for women and men by ensuring equal opportunities for professional growth.

My name is Isabelle and I was born and raised in France but eighteen years ago I chose Italy as my second home and as a country to build my family.

I joined Philip Morris Italia in 2019, and I remember that what shocked me the most about the company was the incredible transformation that it was going through combined with the attention to employees and the promotion of equal opportunities for men and women, inclusion and the enhancement of diversity. In fact, in 2019 Philip Morris had become the first multinational in the world to obtain the Certificazione Equal-Salary which recognised the commitment to ensuring equal pay for men and women for equal work, and this has generated in me the desire to be actively involved in order to have a positive impact on society.

Since I was young, I have always been attracted to programs that promote inclusion and diversity, which offer opportunities to make a difference for people and contribute concretely to society. I am the mother of three girls, and making them grow independently, helping them find their way and protect them is my mission for the future. Helping to build a balanced and healthy working world has always been my dream in the drawer, a dream in the drawer that was finally coming true thanks to Philip Morris.

From Equal Salary to Gender Equality Certification

Have I made my dream come true? I’m proud to say yes. Last month we got the Certificazione della Parità di Genere, which represents a new milestone in our path of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This recognition reflects our commitment to ensuring equal treatment for women and men by ensuring equal opportunities for professional growth. 

Being part of Philip Morris is more than just a job for me. It is being part of a large family that is committed to creating an inclusive working environment, where men and women have the same opportunities for growth and professional development.
