Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst for Commercial Planning & Reporting. In this role, you will provide invaluable support to the commercial team of the HK & Macau markets. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the overall growth and success by delivering high-quality information, insightful reporting, market intelligence, and detailed analysis. Working closely with the Commercial and Finance teams, you will play a meaningful role in driving efficiency and effectiveness in commercial operations, as well as supporting new product launch initiatives. By applying your expertise and resources, you will help craft strategic decisions, optimize performance, and improve profitability. Responsibilities: • Support on tracking and reports to communicate the progress of the business against critical KPI / KSI targets. Support Commercial and Project teams to implement performance management (KPI setting, monitoring & follow-through), to evaluate key route-to-market projects & omnichannel activities, to achieve work excellence and efficiency. • Co-work with Finance Business Planning & Operations Teams on business forecast and industry outlook, prepare and provide accurate volume projection (OB/RF Targets) based on the agreed strategies and anticipated competitive actions. Manage, forecast and minimize loss or damages of stock with detailed analysis and supporting. • Develop and support the delivery of assigned plans and presentations (including Strategy Review and Commercial Plan) in conjunction with relevant stakeholders. Apply market intelligence and data including but not limited to business environment, pricing analysis, consumer trends, portfolio opportunities, and internal data, to provide insights/ recommendations to collect value and increase opportunities. • Develop systems and reports (including Power BI) that provide relevant information to the business. Maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation, and dashboards. Coordinate the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key performance metrics. Provide end-user support to ensure full utilization of technology (systems, tools, reports) available. • Co-work with Finance Business Partner on the planning and tracking of Commercial budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of available resources. Constantly analyze and identify key issues or opportunities and propose the budget required to optimize commercial results. Who we’re looking for? • Bachelor degree in Business Management/Commerce/Finance/Accounting or equivalent field. • 6 years+ of working experience in Commercial (Sales and Marketing) and Business Analytics or Finance Analyst/Planning. • Exposure to a wide range of business issues and ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels within an organization. • Experience in finance planning and the development of finance modelling is highly desirable. • Possesses strong business acumen and understanding in finance, demonstrating a keen understanding of business operations, consumer insights, and analytics. • Proficient in data management, interpretation, visualization, and the ability to provide narrative insights. • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
