JOINING THE DIGITAL PRODUCTS PORTFOLIO The Digital Consumer Engagement Products portfolio plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers. You will be primarily focusing on defining your Digital Product vision, regularly engaging with your customers to gather feedback and understand their needs to increase value. You will be part of all stages of Digital Product incremental value delivery. What’s the purpose of this role? As Tech lead, you will collaborate with the solution & domain architect in making the Digital Product vision, a reality. You ensure that the solution getting implemented adheres to the design & you constructively challenge where you believe improvements and opportunities exist. You are relentless in your pursuit of engineering excellence, even when that means challenging the status quo. You are the champion of delivering solutions that meet the needs of the business design team and are loved by your users and customers (e.g. through user research or user-centric design). You’ll be acutely aware that transformation requires a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mentality. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY • Define a strategy, best practices, and guidelines for our DevOps engineers across the IT Consumer organization. • Collaborate with product teams and other communities of practices in aligning the DevOps practices with the existing engineering practices (development, quality, security, etc) • Mentor and educate teams within the organization on DevOps practices. • Define a strategy for standardization and reusability of DevOps-related artefacts (pipelines, tooling, ways of working, etc) • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the DevOps space and recommend innovative solutions. • Work closely together with our infrastructure and cloud management teams to optimize the DevOps lifecycle. • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. What is needed to succeed in this Role? • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred. • Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and managing DevOps practices in large-scale organizations. • Proficiency in working with AWS cloud-based technologies. • Proficiency in defining, delivering, and optimizing CI / CD pipelines. • Strong understanding of DevOps practices with an emphasis on shift-left in CI / CD runtimes • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Good stakeholder management, and ability to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders. What’s in it for you?
