Your ‘day to day’ As a Business Planning Manager, you are responsible for developing short-term and mid-term forecasts (by conducting impactful analyses on internal and external factors that affect business performance), reporting business performance to local management and to stakeholders at PMI globally, and undertaking financial evaluations (ROI, etc.) for key business initiatives. Your responsibilities include: Pricing Strategy and Business Forecasting Develop optimal pricing strategy & volume forecast by effectively analyzing market trends. Identify risks and opportunities that can impact future growth and develop proposed action plans to address these. Monitor economic, fiscal & regulatory developments, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to translate business insights into foresights. Performance Reporting and Executive Management Support Monitor and report business performance to Local / Regional Management. Provide an update on industry trends, competition, and business KPIs (Volume, Market Share, Net Revenue, Operating Income, etc.) during business reviews. Collaborate with other functions to provide business performance updates to Regional / Global Management. Track progress of key projects/strategic plans and highlight potential opportunities / risks to maximize business performance. Business Partnering As a co-pilot to the business, conduct data driven analyses and provide recommendation on key strategic business initiatives. Assess the overall strategic fit of initiatives and undertake financial evolution (ROI, MC, Pricing, and volume) of proposed projects and new product launches (NPL). Conduct business orientations to onboard new hires (Local / Region). Deliver trainings and workshops to build forecasting / planning capabilities across finance organization. External Affairs / Investor Relations Support Support External Affairs in relation to planned engagements with external stakeholders by providing forecasts / running simulations on Govt tax collections, illicit trade estimates, and other ad-hoc matters. Support Region Finance in preparation of performance commentaries for External reporting. Business, Competitive and Consumer Intelligence Maintain industry and competitive information system and database. Collect, classify, and analyze information from internal and external sources (key competitive initiatives, Tax reports from BIR, Audited Financial Statement analysis) on periodic basis. Leverage reports issued by Consumer insights team to help shape portfolio / pricing strategy. Project Management Manage specific finance projects from planning, execution, evaluation, and migration to business-as-usual activities.
