Your ‘day to day’: As a CoE Quality Engineer you will have to Lead Q-CoE activities, within the areas of competence of the respective stream, to identify, justify and implement improvements to existing quality processes. Act as KPI owner to trigger continuous improvement activities on product and process, identifying corrective actions and presenting data analyses and related conclusions. Lead activities of internal and cross-functional teams, based on different location, to tackle identified product quality issues, by coordinating the execution of tests, design of experiments and test of technology assessments while ensuring optimization, control of quality costs, and proper communication with impacted stakeholders. Act as subject matter expert to support risk assessment of existing packages and quality processes and support continuous improvement of QA standards related to key processes & practices across the involved factories. Your Responsibilities: - Execute Governance for NC, CAPA and Deviation Permit (DP), Control Strategy (CC only), Manufacturing Quality and In-Process Control processes keeping updated SOPs and related forms, and ensure the alignment with the related DIR. Lead Communities and ensure standardization among all Entities (Central Functions and Manufacturing sites) for the proper execution of these processes. Act as SME for the Business Process Owner (BPO) of the relevant manufacturing systems and thrive for the improvement of the e-platform that manages processes and ensure the compliance with QMS requirements. Establish and monitor KPIs for all Manufacturing Centers and foster continuous improvement within these entities. Coach Stakeholders on supportive processes for their improvement and ensure correct communication to all impacted Entities. - Collaborate with relevant internal and external colleagues, applying proven scientific / engineering principles and practices, to assess the proposed improvements on control systems, processes and product performances. Confirm that the project pilot meets the quality acceptance criteria and ensure completeness of related reference package. Transfer the accomplished product, process and system quality improvements, including knowledge and expertise, within the organization to ensure sustainable implementation. - Track project / activity progress as per the defined project plan and recommend revisions to the timetable and resource requirements to ensure all assigned projects are maintained on schedule and within the budget requirements. Provide timely updates to the project / activity owner. Perform data analysis review and storage in line with Company, FDA (RRP only) or any other equivalent accreditation authority requirements. Ensure that objectives and targets related to quality are defined, known and followed-up by the stakeholders. - Ensure a strong partnership with internal/external stakeholders focusing on collaboration and information exchange to ensure excellent quality, standardization and continuous improvement. Support the continuous improvement strategy by performing analytical studies, data & trend analysis; share and validate it with upper management and finalize the related reports including observations of the cross-functional team and management. - Present results / project advancements in Global Quality Operations (Q-Ops) Review Meetings. Act as product quality expert and advisor where research / technical information may have a potential positive impact on the understanding of product performance and of product-consumer interaction to identify deviations from reference packages and correct and / or prevent non-conformity reoccurrence. - Prepare and validate internal and external training and train the relevant business functions on procedures owned by Q-CoE. Ensure that the receiving party is ready to take over the local training execution. For RRP: identify, within the organization, the profiles requiring the appropriate training level of the related disciplines for which he / she is SME. - Provide timely inputs to ensure appropriate governance for Q-OPS PDCA, Masterplan de finition and 90 Days Plan. Lead Product Performance KPIs among RRP community. Identify area of improvements and lead investigation activities among the sites. Ensure the tools required for appropriate Cost of Quality calculations are in place, understood and aligned with stakeholders and propose improvements in the cost allocation and management. - Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, Standards, and Laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature. Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, Environment, Health and Safety. Report all situations requiring actions to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards. Who we’re looking for: Education: College/University<>University degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or equivalent scientific disciplines or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience Work experience: 3-8 years experience in Quality disciplines in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry. Functional Skills: Advanced knowledge of relevant standards (ISO, ICH, GMP). Well developed IT skills, analytical skills, and project management skills. Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root-cause analysis, and statistical tools. Product Quality Knowledge.
