New products bring new challenges – in the way we source and buy raw materials, in the way we engineer and manufacture, and in our supply chain planning. As Analytics Lead you will be part of dynamic community dealing with exciting challenges spreading from new technology for Smoke Free Products production, Manufacturing process optimization, factory logistic, state of art Digital solutions, prototyping and much more. Specifically, in this role you will contribute to value creation for PMI operations by leveraging on different SMEs to develop innovative solutions for data analysis and interpretation with the goal of providing actionable insights to experts in charge of process / technology development and technology users. Your Responsibilities: • Lead the development of analytics tools, frameworks and dashboards to automatize data acquisition, consolidation, processing, interpretation as well access and visualization. • Look for innovation in data science applied to industrial world, specifically to technology for consumables manufacturing (such as application of machine learning, artificial intelligence algorithm) • Apply scientific / engineering principles and analytics tools and collaborate with relevant internal and external colleagues to analyze data and build scenarios related to product costing combining different contributors (material, utilities, labor, maintenance) • Work closely to manufacturing environment: production lines, logistic flows keeping in mind the business perspective. • Perform data analysis (such as machine performance, resources utilization, cost & loss analysis) • Prepare and lead conversations and presentations (verbal and written) to different audience (from production teams to management) • Propose & promote technical solutions to improve data integrity as well as ideas to improve the analyzed process. • Lead exploratory / pilot project and define scale-up strategy • Define project plan and resource requirements, review progress/status to ensure all assigned projects are maintained on schedule and within the budget requirements. • Contribute to a continued collaboration across PMI teams, production facilities, vendors, external resources and other appropriate subject areas to generate and contribute innovative solutions and ideas while building & maintaining a state-of-the-art level of technical knowledge and expertise. • Become a Domain Expert and provide consultation to affiliates and central functions. Who we’re looking for: • University degree in Information Technology, Engineering / Data Science or Equivalent • Proven experience working in industrial engineering preferably in FMCG/food/pharma industry with hands-on experience in production context (technology, process). • Robust programming skills on high-level programming languages such as Python and database management such as SQL. • Proficiency with Excel, powerBI and similar business intelligence applications • 3-4 years experience in manufacturing process analysis and optimization. Proven contribution to complex projects would be a plus. • Project Management capabilities • Proficiency in English • Good ability to deal with ambiguity, action oriented, organizational agility, problem solving & interpersonal skills • Data science & analytics knowledge • SAP, product costing, Total Cost of Ownership knowledge • Tobacco / pharma equipment architecture, process and components cost awareness.
