Join us in our External Affairs team and you will support the External Affairs team – directly reporting to the Coordinator External Affairs & Regulatory Policy and supporting the Senior Manager External Affairs – in the development and the implementation of the overall Regulatory and Government Affairs action plan, supporting an appropriate engagement and institutional relations plan, in line with Company's global transformation and vision. Specific responsibilities include: • Support the External Affairs team in all public affairs activities, maintaining and enhancing the external relations with relevant institutional and political stakeholders for the implementation of the global/EU strategy at Italian national and local level; • Support the team in defining and implementing the overall public affairs strategy and action plan in Italy, with a focus on the evolution of the regulatory framework at national, European and international level; • Monitor and analyze, jointly working with external consultants, the main political and regulatory trends that are relevant for our industry, identifying opportunities and threats, with a particular focus on regulatory policy debate; • Support relationships of the team with external third parties (such as Research Centers, Think Tanks, Universities, Consultancies, …), also directly contributing to the operational relationship with their respective teams and to the proposal, development and review of projects, studies and analysis – mainly focused on regulatory policies; • Preparation of notes and analysis on the evolution of the industry regulatory framework and overall national scenario; • Actively support the team in the engagement activities with public/private stakeholders, mainly focused on regulatory policies; • Provide key support to the team in preparation of materials (e.g. notes, speeches, presentations) for external engagement and company’s attendance to public events; • Liaise with other internal functions and teams (e.g. Legal, Communications, Sustainability, Operations, …) to ensure cross-functional alignment in the execution of the external affairs and overall company strategy. Who we’re looking for! • University degree or Master in Law, Political Sciences, Economics, Business Administration or related fields • At least 2 years of experience within multinational companies or top tier consultancies mainly dealing directly/indirectly with regulatory and public affairs roles/accountabilities OR at least 2 years of experience in political-related positions (e.g. in Italian/EU administration or parliament) • Effective written and verbal communication skills, adapting messages and communication style and content to match a wide variety of stakeholders/audiences • Ability to identify, process and analyse relevant information from multiple sources quickly in order to effectively support engagement activities in a highly regulated market. • Entrepreneurship, positive attitude, attention to details.
