We invite you to join us, bringing your skills and expertise to contribute to achieving a smoke-free future. Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed under Philip Morris Taiwan (PMTW). PMTW operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc., As a Senior EA Manager, Government Affairs, you will represent the company to develop and implement company’s engagement activities with government and legislative agencies and officials in order create a stable and positive environment which enables the company to achieve its business objectives. Responsibilities: • Develop a comprehensive long-range plan for government affairs that aligns with the company's objectives that integrates Global and Local Market. • Serve as the official representative of the company when engaging with regulatory authorities, leading efforts to communicate with key policymakers, regulatory bodies, and enforcement agencies. • Supervise and analyze political and regulatory trends that impact the industry and our business, and build a strategic comprehensive plans to solve fiscal or regulatory challenges in the market. • Actively communicate with policy makers to advance business objectives, and promote the adoption of comprehensive harm reduction regulatory frameworks. • Develop strong business relationships with external partners and foster positive relationships, in accordance with company policies, to help shape environment for company’s smoke-free vision. • Drive and support the development and alignment of Government Affairs strategies across the Region/Asia East Cluster Markets, incorporating a top-down and bottom-up approach that encompasses regional considerations and aligns with the overall strategy cycle. • Collaborate closely with the global team to develop core competencies in consumer mobilization for different markets, including strategy development, tool creation, and support for market activation. Who we’re looking for! • University degree in communication, politics, legal, or government & public policy. • At least 15 years of experience in External Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Public Relations, or Legal environment within a multinational company. • Experience working with government/regulatory agencies or involvement in political or think tank activities, with experience in engaging with a wide range of policy makers is preferred. • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating sophisticated partner relationships in diverse environments, showcasing excellent political savvy and agility. • Possess commercial savvy, with a track record in strategic planning and business analysis. • Ability to synthesize sophisticated concepts and materials, and develop effective engagement strategies and tools as a result.
