Your 'day to day' As a Sr Engineer - Electronics, you will lead Electronics Engineering (EE) development aspects and prototyping of core electronics new technologies to meet the agreed product functional requirements. Moreover, you'll provide technical cost and risk assessments and make EVT and FMEA of core electronics modules. You'll also manage roadmap development for critical electronics components and modules. Furthermore, you'll support processes and tools improvements dedicated to development of core technology for RRP devices. Apart from these, you will ensure a detailed communication of the new electronics modules’ introduction plan with all partners (ePDC: Asia engineering team, PPT: Product and Process Technology, Design Validation team, external Development partners...) and document all relevant information’s in our PLM system. More specifically, you'll • Build a roadmap of modules able to speed-up the prototyping phase • Provide technical expertise on electronics development to support device architects and Products & Process Technology (PPT) team • Supervise development of critical electronics components roadmaps covering the different core technologies for RRP devices platforms in collaboration with the different partners • Handle detailed design of core electronics engineering in collaboration with internal and external partners (PPT, ePDC (Asia engineering team), Device architects, ME eng, FW eng…) • Lead engineering validation testing of the core electronics module in collaboration with DV team and external partners • Support and assess external parties which are mandated for core electronics module development and manufacturing. Build and nourish effective partnerships and relationships with external companies to extend electronics design and prototyping capabilities. • Improve processes and tools which support the development of core electronics Who we're looking for • Master's or PhD in Electronics Engineering • Substantial product-related electronics design experience in consumer electronics, automotive and/or medical devices development • Experience in design for manufacturing, design for cost and design for testing • Expertise in PCB/Schematics/Functional verification and validation • Experience in managing /collaborating with external electronics development partners • Knowledge in another area of engineering would be an asset, for instance: FW design, ME design • Experience (or awareness) in medical devices and process development would be desirable • Experience (or awareness) in technical project management would be desirable • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently and in a team • Experimental approach mindset, oriented to quality of results with technical decisions taken based on objective data • Ability to handle ambiguity and agility in problem solving • Ability to communicate effectively and express sophisticated concepts at all levels of the organization, encourage direct and open discussions • Proficiency in English (both written and oral) What we offer Our success depends on the people of all genders who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
