Your ‘day to day’ As a Project Engineer, you will plan, develop, and execute the Engineering projects aiming for improving Operations Performance pertaining to Safety, Productivity, Quality, Compliance, Innovation, etc. You will also ensure proper Capex execution by closely monitoring projects under your responsibility. You will also ensure that all our projects are compliant to our Environment, Health, and Safety standards. Your responsibilities include: • Coordinate, check, and approve work requests within defined timelines and resources. • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project ensuring all resources (time, money, equipment, etc) are determined to complete a project as well as ensure its completion on time. • Develop, control, and coordinate the flow of all entire project documentation as well as review technical drawings prepared by our consultants and other vendors • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and solving problems to ensure the successful completion of the project. Participate in the check-up of materials, execute the technical and design supervision of the installation of new equipment in order to ensure high quality installation and commissioning of equipment. • Maintain communication within and with relevant departments in order to execute the project plan and to find the timeliest cost-effective solutions. Communicate in timely manner on loss elimination priorities, plans and responsibilities to ensure cross-functional alignment. • Prepare budget and project reports to monitor cash flow projections as well as ensuring that the funds and budget are in accordance to company policies and procedures. Who we’re looking for You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. You have 5-8 years of experience working in an Engineering department of a high volume consumer goods manufacturing company. You have strong experience in Project Management (with formal education in PM is a plus). You are driven, committed and passionate to level up standards and has strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skills. Good communication skills as well as a working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint is also required. You must also be amenable to work in Batangas and Marikina Plant.
