International Assignments Specialist

Philip Morris international (PMI) affiliate in Hong Kong is looking for an International Assignments (IA) Specialist who is responsible to provide specialized services and support in the area of International Assignments to ensure smooth relocation and integration for all inbound and outbound assignees. Key accountabilities: •Administers IA policies in relation to expatriate management which includes: exploratory trip arrangement; settling-in orientation and support which includes temporary accommodation, housing, shipment of household goods; schooling for dependent children; work permits and visa applications and renewals; local assistance such as tenancy management, bank account opening, benefit cars, club membership; office set up arrangement; implementation of applicable host country policies such as security and safety; language training; home leave, spousal support etc. •Repatriation/expatriation assistance upon completion of assignment at the host country which includes cancellation of all host country leases; shipments of household goods; local services termination; return of office tools; departure consulate requirements, etc. •Provide answers, advice, and solutions to assignees’ enquires on a timely manner. Escalate any exception requests to IA Team Leader or Shared Services Center (SSC) for further discussion, and follow up with agreed solutions with records in file. •Monitor, handle and manage IA related tickets in order to achieve a satisfied KPIs for internal HR Services process. Communicate and follow up with Shared Services Center or assignees in case any system data correction or confirmation is required. •Provide support in tenancy management for all assignees’ apartments including manage of tenancy review and approval process, proper system record, deposit and monthly rental payment, reconciliation of rental accounts, etc. •Check and verify IA related expenses are approved in accordance with IA principles and practices. •Coordinate and monitor level of service of all 3rd party vendors to ensure exemplary services are delivered. Requirements for the role: •University graduate with around 3-4 years relevant IA experience in multinational companies or with relocation companies. •Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. •Excellent Customer Service capability. •High learning attitude with strong result and quality driven mindset. •Excellent command of English and Cantonese, both spoken and written.
