About the role
As the Head of Digital Sales & Performance, you will pay a pivotal role in achieving online volume objectives and contributing to market share growth through leading, managing and developing our eCommerce offer. This will involve contributing to the development of our overall Omni-channel strategy and directing the implementation in line with our long-term vision and overall business objectives. You will be building individual and organizational digital capabilities, motivating and managing a dedicated and passionate digital team.
Your key areas of focus will include:
You will be working closely with the Digital Director to define and drive the UK Digital eCommerce strategy in order to achieve sales objectives, building the brand and driving product awareness of IQOS.
You’ll be accountable for the online P&L both in our own eCommerce channel and via 3rd party digital marketplaces where we sell our products. You will be also responsible for developing and executing trading strategies to drive performance and achieve sales and profit targets, whilst working effectively with Development teams to lead the online lifecycle of products and availability.
This will involve close collaboration the Deployment function to build a strong business plan, ensuring a joined up Commercial approach across all sales channels. You will plan and execute the marketing and promotional calendar, driving sales and margins, improving average transaction size, loyalty and product purchase frequency. You will work with our headquarters in Switzerland to ensure alignment with our global Digital vision whilst maintaining local relevance for the UK market.
You will take ownership of all Digital Media planning and buying, being responsible for the budget for and making decisions about paid search.
To achieve maximum return on investment in paid search campaigns, you’ll drive the optimization of copy and landing pages for search engine marketing. This will also include overseeing the execution of tests, collection and analysis data and results.
To increase and maintain the online customer experience of IQOS, you'll work closely with the UX/UI team.
As a people manager, you’ll also be responsible for a team, working with them in terms of development, mentoring and motivation to achieve the set objectives. Your team will rely on you to give clarity of direction and for the clear communication of the strategy.
You’ll have previous and significant experience in digital performance including media, SEO and ecommerce.
You’ll enjoy leading, mentoring, educating and motivating a great team, and think strategically around how you are able to successfully lead the team to hit their targets.
Ideally you’ll have previous experience in a sales environment, and demonstrate your ability to handle different stakeholders while being objective and target focused.
You’ll possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to speak and present to the board.
