SUPERVISOR POSITION TITLE:
Country Security and Market Safety Manager
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Manage Security & Market Safety activities within an affiliate and act as the key contact and counselor to affiliate (commercial & security management) for Security & Market Safety issues and/or initiatives; ensure full implementation of all Security & Market Safety programs, initiatives, and objectives to ensure that Company's people, business and assets are safe and secure.
Ensure implementation and compliance with Security & Market Safety strategies and programs for the affiliate. Directly manage the South Region Security & National Market Safety organization; provide guidance and support to the affiliate (commercial & security management) teams, direct reports, and other stakeholders.
Business Alignment & Visibility
Evaluate emerging business and operational models for potential Security & Market Safety risk exposure and gaps; highlight risks/exposures with affiliate management, the Country Manager Security & Market Safety, and other Security & Market Safety stakeholders. Identify and solve Security & Market Safety issues within the affiliate. Maintain situational awareness of the country, including external and internal risk exposure and incidents trends, to inform business decision-making processes. Maintain regular liaison with affiliate (commercial & security) management, other stakeholders, and functional peers to align Security & Market Safety strategies and service levels with affiliate strategy and objectives.
Perform/conduct functional assessments/reviews at the affiliate level; identify and address non-conformities. Respond to and report Security & Market Safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses and security- or safety-related investigations, and implement/validate corrective action measures. Oversee implementation of PMI market and fleet safety strategies and best practices in assigned markets. Develop and implement protective measures, contingency plans and emergency response procedures.
Awareness & Training
Implement and delivers a range of Security & Market Safety-related training programs to sustain and strengthen awareness of Security & Market Safety in the affiliate.
Develop the skills and capabilities of direct reports through coaching and mentoring, to raise the necessary skills and knowledge in the affiliate Security & Market Safety organization.
Share Best Practices
Evaluate SMP development. Involve in cross-market, cross-function, and cross-regional collaboration projects and initiatives. Roll out SMP in whole affiliate.
Performance and Reporting
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Security & Market Safety-related incident and events reporting. Review/consolidate related metrics and KPI, to provide focused and detailed reports; escalate trends and critical issues to appropriate levels of management.
Provide timely advice based on analysis /assessment of security risk / threat and impact to enable well informed business decisions. Develop and execute security plans to meet company business objectives. Assess, evaluate, plan and arrange third party security services. Review, manage and monitor the effectiveness of contracted-out security services/resources. Prepare and manage regional and national market safety budgets
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
College/University; Professional Certifications and/or Occupational Trainings
8 - 10 years in corporate security management role, preferably in a country/regional security manager role or equivalent. Developed knowledge of specialist security systems & market safety tools, hands-on experience in dealing with national and international security issues. Working knowledge of OHS best practices beneficial. Conversant with fleet management safety rules.
