You’ll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your ‘day to day’ : The Sync Hub is our recently built global Supply Chain planning powerhouse, orchestrating the end-2-end planning activities (Demand, Supply, Capacity, Fulfillment) deploying the latest digital tools based on AI, across all product categories of PMI. Reshaping our Supply Chain to be lean, digital and demand driven towards advancing complexities of growing categories/portfolios. •You will be responsible to lead the anticipation and identification of capacity bottlenecks and footprint optimization opportunities on regional / global level in the mid-long term and propose optimal and structural solutions which contribute to the business strategies of the sync hub. •Define relevant capacity surge guidelines, analyze & explain deviations to the sourcing plan. •For Long Term Planning (12-24months), understand business based on market trend and innovation, anticipate capacity bottlenecks or footprint optimization opportunities and propose optimal and structural solutions such as resourcing, format consolidation, machine moves or investment in equipment or capabilities. •Perform holistic analysis including various scenarios, highlighting the status, drivers and proposed solutions to be presented to management to facilitate decision making and support priority setting. •Lead the coordination of the execution of footprint projects with affiliates from 650 initiation to machine start-up to ensure sufficient capacity growth and required capabilities within agreed project timeline. •Lead Supply Chain Projects in the region and contribute to PMI cross-functional strategic projects (innovation, productivity, regulatory...) providing scenario-building related to capacity growth and equipment needs. •Organize and lead regular meetings with related stakeholders, prepare required presentations and follow-up on agreed action plans. For the strategic projects implementation, communicate regularly with stakeholders to review project requests, assess project phase scope, and provide status updates, and plan, schedule and coordinate project tasks and deliverables with affiliates. Who we’re looking for: •Experience in supply, capacity, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain management; demand forecasting is a plus • Strong Supply Chain modeling and analytical skills: interest in ‘self-driving’ tools and automation of processes •Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with excellent preciseness and a high level of comfort in analyzing data. •Learning agility and ability to integrate in a new organization with ease •Fluency in English with strong communication skills, verbal and written •Able to exert tactful influence in a matrix organization •APICS Certification is a plus •Exposure to planning systems (E2Open suite, Demand sensing tools, SAP-APO) is desirable.
