As the Manager Security Operations, you will be the key person to ensure the security and safety to our people and organization in the manufacturing facilities and HQ. Being the key contact and counsellor to the functions, you will be responsible in providing professional expertise in addressing local security issues and challenges; and in developing and initiating programs and plans to maintain a safe and secure workplace. Your ‘day to day’ Your role is to plan, implement, oversee, and follow-up security & safety programs' requirements in order to address and mitigate all identified security and safety risks to people, product, property, and reputation of the company. In addition, you are to ensure that all risk mitigation plans and emergency response procedures are implemented, and kept updated in order to mitigate the business disruption, and to be in compliance with relevant local legislations, PMI Principles & Practices, standards, procedures, and guidelines. Your role also includes: • Leadership & Management: Lead the Operations Security organization and oversee execution and/or cascade of PMI’s strategy & objectives, set personal objectives for the team, & perform Mid-year and Annual Performance Review. Ensure the team’s skills & capabilities are developed and the team has received sufficient training to perform their job through regular coaching and mentoring, to raise the necessary skills & knowledge needed. • Business Alignment & Visibility: Evaluate emerging business and operational models for potential Security risk exposure and gaps. Maintain regular liaison highlighting risks or exposures with affiliate management, other stakeholders, and functional peers to align strategies and service levels with affiliate strategy and objectives. Engage with all employees up to senior leadership team to create ownership for security management programs. • Program Delivery: Conduct functional Security risk assessments and reviews at the affiliate’s level; identify and address risks and non-conformities & respond to and report incidents as per requirements. Conduct root cause analyses and security- or safety-related investigations, and implement & validate corrective action measures. • Training: Provide expert support to local management on tactical and practical emergency response management. Plan, organize and deliver training programs as per PMI and local regulatory requirements to all local staff, employees and contractors in order to build a robust and sustainable Security in the company . • Budget & Cost management: Ensure effective budget management by implementing proper planning, analysis, and monitoring spending on regular basis. Encourage the team to generate productivity and cost reduction initiatives. • Performance and Reporting: Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Security related incident and events reporting requirements. Review/consolidate related metrics and KPI, to provide focused and detailed reports; escalate trends and critical issues to appropriate levels of management • Security Service Vendor Management: Manage third party service providers in conjunction with procurement and Manager Security & Market Safety. Ensure the performance consistently meet all PMI requirements and standards, by developing a comprehensive KPI measurement and monitoring system, while at the same time maintaining effective coordination. Experience o 5-10 years in a corporate security management role, preferably at a country-level or equivalent, with hands-on experience in dealing with national and international security issues o Developed knowledge of specialist security systems & tools o Experience in conducting security risk assessments and security audits o Regional or area knowledge, i.e. general awareness of political, security, and operational landscape in The Philippines o Prefer previous experience in a multinational company o Experience in working in manufacturing setting is a plus o Knowledge of travel security best practices; experience working with external partners/providers such as International SOS is a plus o Training or certifications in security risk management (such as CPP or TAPA ) a plus o Training or certifications in OHS (such as NIOSH or equivalent) a plus Other skills o Full professional proficiency in English & local language required o Strong verbal and written communication skills o High level of personal and professional integrity; leads by example o Existing network of security contacts in the affiliate (i.e. law enforcement community, diplomatic missions, peer companies, service providers) o Comfort around senior management; strong interpersonal skills and ability to convince o Ability to deal with ambiguity in a complex organizational set-up & lead change o Able to work and perform under stress Travel Up to 40% local travel.
