We are looking for a Quality Technician who will work in İzmir to develop, evaluate, establish, maintain, and administer manufacturing products and incoming material specifications in accordance with PMI global specifications and local factory requirements. Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are: •Support production teams by providing Quality guidance in case of issues. •Train the floor on Quality practices/procedures and ensure the operational staff remains up to date with PMI Quality requirements. •Investigate non-conformities and deviations for products or materials and perform root cause analysis in a timely manner. Contribute to defining elimination actions, and when appropriate corrective actions. •Performs quality audits within all Operations. •Propose and follow-up quality improvement ideas, participate in small projects in production or other processes in Operations. •Analyze the information and participate in small projects with influence on product quality of non-conformities and process failures. •Participates in process improvement actions implementation and coordinates improvement projects (product and process). •Manage the retention, storage and destruction of finished product samples. •Participate in the creation/review of procedures, work instructions and other required Quality documents. •Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, environment, health and safety. Report all situations requiring actions in order to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards. You: • Hold a Bachelor's degree on Engineering (Mechanical, Electric-Electronics, Food, Chemistry, Metallurgy ) and Chemical, Biology • Have at least 1 year of experience in Quality or Production, • Have good written and verbal communication skills in English, • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention to detail, • Are collaborative, a team player, out-of-box thinker, customer oriented and a quick learner, • Knowledge about physical analysis lab equipment is a plus, • Knowledge about Integrated Working System, Root-Cause Analysis Methods & No-Touch Control Systems are plus, • Knowledge about soft/technical capability building is a plus.
