Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Shenzhen, we are looking for a Manager EMS, China to manage the work with the EMS on a daily basis to achieve high level of performance, cost transparency and savings in line with the strategic goals of the organization. Be prepared to rapidly intervene to unblock tactical issues ensuring consistently high levels of quality and supplier management. Responsibilities: • Responsible for ensuring the EMS meets operational level KPIs and works with the EMS on a daily basis to problem solve and rapidly escalate issues if necessary. • Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of supply and continuous improvement/development by the EMS. Must provide manufacturing support and trouble shooting when needed. • Responsible for daily quality assurance and management. • Manage the implementation of rigorous operating reviews on a daily basis and providing information for higher level reviews (ex. Weekly, monthly, quarterly Business Reviews). • Responsible for managing the risk plan and rapidly implementing pre-planned mitigations when necessary to manage expectations and avoid disruption to quality and supply. • Responsible for the management of call-off facilitation activities and ensuring EMS adherence to AVL. • Must work with PMI functional experts (ex. Procurement) to support activities such as regular audits of tactical sourcing. • Manage to build strong and collaborative relationships with the EMS to develop a trust relationship over time. Who we're looking for: • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Electronic/ Electrical); MBA preferred • Recognized managerial qualifications, membership of a management institute. • Extensive experience of operational level EMS management in an international environment. • Strong leadership and managerial skills. • Strong technical knowledge of core EMS management techniques, including planning, quality, supplier and risk management.
