We have an opportunity for a Global Digital Data Lead. The position can be based in London (UK), Krakow ( Poland) or Lisbon (Portugal). Purpose of the role: Lead the Build up and operations of Lead to Cash, incl Commercial services in IBS, across the Globe. Serving Affiliates to focus on the core business in country/channels PMI has built a world class Omni-channel ecosystem to support the consumer engagement on our Reduced Risk Products. This consumer journey is supported in many ways, through online presence, coaches, contact centers, IQOS boutiques and 3rd party sellers. Coordinating this approach operationally through data driven insights and execution of core processes is at the heart of this position This role works with a team of colleagues, based in various service centres across the globe to execute (e)Commerce operational activities within the Lead to Cash (L2C) cycle, to the business. This role focuses on the entire PMI portfolio with a focus on RRP’s, working towards a Smokefree future. Main responsibilities • Leading the IBS team to collect, analyse, provide data driven insights as well as design, implement and operate commercial activities. Collaborating on data from multiple points in and outside of the organisation within either a (internal) partnership or an external ecosystem for the use of optimizing PMI’s commercial operations. • Designing and managing the process and data value chain leading to relevant commercial offerings to the business. Working with the business to aggregate/collect relevant data and then extract information to create and deliver insights. Also developing new data & commercial services that complement directly to existing Global Business Services (GBS) services, together with an incubation team. • Leading with the following: o actionable insight that is based on unique, comprehensive behavioral consumer or business data to drive profitable or growth-related actions. Support development of the relevant market offerings. o Be an Information Orchestrator. Provides data or insights enabled by a platform. Collaborates to develop the offering and shares in the value creation, in combining proprietary, public, and partner data. o Be a Service Orchestrator. Offers services enabled by an automated platform. Ensures that data cleansing, data combination and value extraction activities are designed with the business users and then automated for the business to act on this service. o Be a Technical Enabler. Identifies the business needs which will help the business to help grow and create new or better opportunities. Identify which data exists, which is missing and design technical (in house or 3rd party solutions) to create the missing data. Then to technically combine all data for value creation. • Establishing (Commercial) Data Leadership There is no substitute for high-quality, unique data. Businesses that have data leadership for a given use case can create exponentially greater value compared with businesses that offer more limited information. PMI plans to gain this Data Leadership through the creation of this role and associated resources. This role will lead to a solid data advantage, which in turn will deliver superior commercial results. • Targeting Critical Customer & Consumer Needs. Work to identify and develop critical challenges or opportunities facing our customer & commercial ecosystem and then develop offerings that effectively deliver on those opportunities. Both online and offline. • Working with the team cleans, aggregates, and analyzes data from customers & consumers, Market intelligence, and other sources around the world and then offers insights and services to commercial and operational teams around the world. Helping to accelerate growth, market share and/or profitability, by helping colleagues better understand relationships between current operations and outcomes and identifying incremental benefits. • Building a Creative and Independent Culture. Building the team with an innovative culture that supports the incubation of novel ideas and is effective at evaluating new opportunities. In addition, giving teams a high degree of autonomy to achieve digital commercial market benefits. Helping the business avoid developing products/services that are based largely on the data the company wants to exploit rather than on what customers need. Education and Job requirements • University or post graduate degree in a relevant field; • strong analysis, forecasting, planning skills ; • Certification/industry qualifications in program management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) and process design (e.g. LEAN/Six sigma green belt); • Fluent English language (including business English); • Proven and practical experience in setting up and implementation of the various business services models, derived from the projects you managed either in the GBS, shared services or outsourcing environment; • Leadership skills, flexibility and capability to initiate and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders on different seniority levels. Including the ability to engage, listen, coach, challenge and influence across all levels of PMI; • Proven track record utilizing leading practices, tools and methods to manage projects, including agile ways of working; • Strong project and change management skills and demonstrated analytical, process-oriented and a good eye for detail. A strong communicator with good presentation skills; • Understanding of how large, multinational companies work. Ideally in the consumer products industry; • A self-starter who is comfortable with fast-paced, high-intensity environment where multiple projects are balanced, and work needs to be prioritized.
