Your ‘day to day’ • We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Finance and Accounting to lead the setup and establish oversight of a newly established legal entity's financial and tax processes in China. You will be employed in Shenzhen. Responsibilities • Accountable for the quality and accuracy of the financial statements, for US GAAP and Statutory, and the respective filings. • Interact with the Company’s offshore Integrated Business Services to ensure smooth operations of key financial processes. • Collaborate with the tax specialist to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax declarations. • Collaborate with the payroll service provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll calculations, payments, and reconciliations. • Collaborate with Integrated Business Services to ensure proper bank reconciliations and cash flow management. • Preparation of statutory as per local GAAP, as well timely and accurate filing of financials and other required documentation. • Act as key finance contact to the business and broader finance functions within the organization regarding Integrated Business Services actuals reporting. • Liaise with different Finance stakeholders within the organization to provide assurance over local and US Gaap reporting requirements. • Manage contractual agreements of the new legal entity and ensure compliance with local laws and US Gaap reporting rules • Provide financial guidance and ensure proper controls execution in accordance with company policies and standards. • Liaise with the broader Asia Electronics organization to support key projects and enable smooth execution of the operational activities in alignment with company targets. • Liaise with auditors – internal and external – and manage financial audits of the legal entity. Who we’re looking for • University degree in Accounting. Master degree preferred. • Demonstrated experience in accounting and finance roles for at least 5 years, preferably for a multinational organization. • US Gaap knowledge and experience in US Gaap reporting standards. • Experience in Chinese statutory and filling requirements. • Proficiency in English • Experience in tax and treasury management. • High level of analytical thinking. • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and offshore locations.
