YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ As a Program Manager Social Sustainability, you will be part of Operations Sustainability department for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to the Director Social Sustainability. The position will be based in Crespellano (Italy). A key responsibility will be to manage programs of large scope, typically across the different departments. Specific responsibilities include: • Drive the end-to-end program management process for the projects where they are deployed, ensuring effective delivery in line with standards set by S&PD PMO and the Program Management Methodology • Apply complex project management principles, practices and techniques to problem solving. Provide leadership and technical direction for highly complex initiatives which impact resources across the Company. Contribute to business justification of projects by developing and managing • Conduct ongoing and effective risk management to identify and monitor project risks, issues and dependencies, working collaboratively with project teams to mitigate risks, and advancing to Management and/or S&PD PMO when required • Manage ongoing Program Governance boards to supervise project status/ progress against plans, supporting decision making and advising corrective action where required • Make sure program benefits are identified and accurate governance is established to make sure that benefits are realized at the end of the program • Advise/ mentor project teams on good practice project management and help build PPM capability across their team • Provide input to the social pillar strategies (including the outside-in) • Stay abreast of global macro trends in social sustainability and human rights • Provide input for all external reporting submissions Who we’re looking for: • University Degree in Business Administration • Professional qualification in project/ program management • 10 years’ work experience in project management, some knowledge in social sustainability and human rights is a clear plus • Clear understanding of PMI project management tools and techniques • Strong influencing and collaboration skills; able to advise and constructively challenge senior team members • A creative and analytical problem-solver, with the ability to think ‘in an unexpected way’ when encountering project challenges • English proficient; Italian proficient is a clear plus What we offer: Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
