We are looking for Manager Industrial and Employee Relations (IER) for Commercial based in Jakarta/Surabaya. HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US? • Industrial and Employee Relations Strategy and Annual Plan: Participates as a member of Industrial and Employee Relations Management Team in developing Industrial and Employee Relations Strategy and Plan, implements programs against the agreed plan, monitors and reports progress and recommends changes/ corrections where necessary in order to create conducive working environment that can support the business growth • Employee Cohesiveness Program: Manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of employee leisure programs to strengthen employee cohesiveness • Employee Communication Program: Manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of communication IER program to promote and strengthen employee engagement and champions the employee relations program, shares and transfers engagement spirit to other functions/employees in order to help strengthen employee engagement. • Manages end-to-end needs for Company Regulations (CR) and Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) • Wage Review: Manages data gathering and analysis needed for wage review such as macro-economic data, minimum wage, market data, etc. to provide inputs for preparing wage negotiation strategy. • Dispute Settlement: Manages the review of investigation report, issuance of disciplinary action, implementation of bipartite process, and documents preparation in order to comply with the labor laws and company policy and practices and to safeguard company interest. • IER Project: Manages the development and implementation of any IER related project (e.g. Gold Pin, Employee Opinion Survey, MPS market survey, IER On-line, etc.) in order to help achieve project objectives. • External and Internal Relationship: Builds and maintains relationships with relevant external bodies (i.e. District Manpower Office, Jamsostek, Cetral Statistics Bureau, Apindo, Labor Union, etc.) in order to help achieve business objectives represents the company as the member of District Wage Committee Body (Dewan Pengupahan Daerah) by involving in tripartite processes, carrying out predetermined plan, strategy and guidance, and proclaiming company objectives and target in order to ensure that company interests or concerns could be accomplished • Work Unit Performance: Develops, recommends, and when approved, guides, controls, adjusts, and reports on the implementation of work unit plans, projects, OPEX, and CAPEX budgets as per Manufacturing Five Year and Annual business requirements WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Law or HR Management • Minimum 5 years progressive working experience in HR with 2 years experience in handling industrial issues • Solid knowledge of Indonesia labor laws, rules & regulations, solicitor, contract drafting, industrial relationship processes, & project management • Computer Literate, especially Microsoft Office and preferably graphic • Fluent in English, both oral & written • Leadership skills – including the ability to position himself effectively as the leader of his work unit, communicate a clear and compelling direction for the team and encourage individual and team motivation, commitment and performance • Conceptual thinking – including the ability to identify patterns or connections between situations that are not obviously related, and to identify key or underlying issues in complex situations • Analytical thinking – including the ability to systematically break down complex situation into their component parts, to understand the relationships and devise appropriate responses • Integrity – including being honest and upholding professional principles and ethical standards in any and all aspects of her business conduct • Relationship building – including the ability to build or maintain friendly, warm relationships or networks of contacts with people who are, or might someday be, useful in achieving work-related goals WHAT WE OFFER Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
