YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ As Manager, Strategy & Performance Delivery you will be part of Manufacturing Solutions department for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to the Head S&PD. The position can be based in Bologna (Italy). A key responsibility will be to take ownership within the large and sophisticated MS organization for the improvement opportunities identification, their development and implementation! This includes new ways of working, processes, tools and general infrastructure for MS (excluding project management ones which are the responsibility of Manager PMO). This will be achieved by running programs, projects or initiatives with cross-functional teams following the PBO principles and good practices. You will build positive relationships with MS and Ops departments in order to be ahead of the MS departments needs and be advised about the latest developments in Ops / S&PD communities. You will also be responsible to lead MS strategies / OGSM, objectives preparation and follow-up and KPI's definition and monitoring! Specific responsibilities include: • Own the establishment of MS & S&PD OGSM, strategies and objectives together with KPI's creation and follow-up. Recommend and implement actions for the MS continuous improvement. • Identify, collect and recommend new ways of working, processes, tools and infrastructure to improve MS departments’ efficiency and speed. Develop the solution(s), implement and supervise them. • Ensure visibility of resources allocation and its utilization across MS departments, portfolio and activities. • Have active communication with MS Management Team, Extended Management Team and other Ops/S&PD and external stakeholders to look out for MS needs, new tools, tendencies, methodologies, etc. Proactively share and support best practice sharing within MS and across Operations S&PD. • Collaborate with the S&PD community, define processes & procedures and guidelines to ensure efficiency, standardization and speed across the MS department programs & projects. • Be the solely source of information and reference for any new process, tool, software or infrastructure implemented to guide newcomers and to ensure its accurate lifecycle. • Be responsible for administrative tasks as Quality Management System maintenance and I-Train related activities Key Qualifications: • University degree in Engineering or Technical areas. Advanced studies are desired • Project / program management certifications • Validated experience in an Engineering / Project Management department within a factory or regional / global function. Additional experience within PMI manufacturing environment is a plus. Requirements & Skills: • Hands on in leading projects of all sizes and dimensions from factory floor to corporate functions. • Deep knowledge of MS office and PM tools, statistic tools and skills to develop KPI's and perform managerial analysis • Strong communication skills and huge negotiation, problem solving and analytical thinking abilities.
