Your Day to Day: The Strategy & Program Deliver department is responsible for driving overall market strategy development and initiatives with alignment across all functions, the development of long-range plans for Philip Morris Italia, while establishing prioritization and governance of all programs architecture through the Project Based Organization methodology and related business delivery. Member of the Project Management Office, the initiatives’ enabler and the information hub for projects and programs in the affiliate. Coordinates all projects and business as usual initiatives for PM Italia, by ensuring tracking of all KPIs. One-stop-shop for the affiliate with regards to prioritization of business projects/programs, defining the program plan for the affiliate (identifying critical vs. non-critical initiatives). Contribute to resolution of initiative-related issues by analyzing, identifying and proposing solutions to achieve main PM Italia objectives. Contribute to PM Italia success, aiming to reach business and consumer KPIs, through a successful implementation of all projects and initiatives, particularly – but not limited to – those along the Consumer Journey. Specific Responsibilities include: MAPPING INITIATIVES: Prioritize initiatives based on i) consumer value, ii) return on investment, iii) feasibility leveraging on both Business needs and Consumer Journey with its metrics, setting up and updating the prioritization matrix. For initiatives with impact on Consumer Journey, contribute to size it. PRIORITIZATION: By liaising with all departments, ensure current plan is defined, is feasible and is mapped on internal tools, assess further opportunities based on critical KPIs (success, cost, ROI, long run analysis), define the prioritization vs. existing initiatives. In this context, liaise with finance department to ensure alignment of funds request / release (controlling) as well as plan revision (business planning), in light of new initiatives/project and prioritization vs. existing ones. BUSINESS CASES: Act as a bridge between initiative owners and Strategy on the Business Cases process; actively contribute to the Business Case definition (scope, goals, deliverables, costs, timescales, plans, dependencies, resource requirements and milestones), ahead of the approval. GOVERNANCE & MONITORING: Ensure full visibility and transparency of major projects within the affiliate and towards PMI. Favor adoption of common practices to evaluate projects based on: deadlines, deliverables, resources, timelines and outcomes. Identify and address opportunities and risks. Manage interdependencies and coordination across cross-functional projects ensuring that information on project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated amongst stakeholders. Provide regular reviews to leaders with overall projects overview, main project progress updates, identifying risk and opportunities enabling further decision making. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Liaise with initiative owners and build trustworthy relationships with all related stakeholders (management team, sponsors, financial community and PMI Central Functions). LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND INFLUENCE: Be an ambassador of Project Management within the organization; ensure a structured, process- and planning- oriented business approach is adopted in every tasks and guide junior colleagues to embrace the PMO mission to “be a trusted advisor for management & a business partner for initiative owners”. Who we’re looking for • University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; • 5-7 year combined significant experience in PMO/Finance/Commercial roles in FMCG or multinational highly structured Companies/Consultancy • Knowledge of commercial functions • Business & Commercial Acumen • Financial Acumen & Numeracy • Consumer Journey Literate is a nice to have • (Senior) Stakeholder Management • Able to work in Matrix environment • Connecting the dots mindset; Big picture seeker • Influencing others • Proactive attitude • Fluent in Italian and English • Entrepreneurship, positive attitude, attention to details • Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • A valid working permit for EU is requested What’s ‘nice to have’ • Team player, positive attitude and willingness to share competencies • Project Management Skills, agility to work in complex and fluid environment with tight deadlines. • Computer skills: Word, Power Point. • Entrepreneurship, positive attitude, attention to details.
