It’s the perfect start to your career. The Challenge As a Finance Systems Governance Intern, in our Finance Center of Expertise, you will be the compass of the whole ship. You will be an active part of the implementation of the new Finance Operating Model, as a part of the Finance Transformation that PMI is currently undertaking worldwide. You will be supporting our global team liaising between Business needs and IT capabilities, to build and govern the new application landscape. You will participate in Finance Technology projects, acting as a point of contact between the Business in different markets and Stakeholders. You will learn about Finance-related systems, data and processes while enhancing your analytical skills. You’ll be challenged to contribute with innovative ideas and work collaboratively not only with your team, but the entire organization. You will help us to: • Ensure technology-related projects deliver the expected business outcomes with the continuous evolving of our applicational and data landscape; • Ensure project deliverables meet our quality standards and are aligned with business requirements and overall strategy; • Assist our worldwide affiliates onboarding and leveraging the new application landscape; • Ensure our worldwide stakeholders are extracting value from the applicational and data landscape; • Extract relevant data, perform data validation and prepare reports and analysis across markets; • Establish a governance environment surrounding Finance Applications; • Maintain relevant communication channels with our Stakeholders and share updated information; • Ensure 1st level of application support to our Affiliates; Moreover, you'll be helping us to continuously transform our business towards a consumer centric organization. About the Finance Center of Expertise PMI is establishing a new Finance Center of Expertise (CoE) in Portugal. The goal of this new CoE is to support PMI affiliates by developing an efficient, effective, capable and engaged organization with capabilities to collect, analyze and deliver information for fast, data-driven decision-making. Who we’re looking for • Bachelor or preferably Master’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science & Business Management, or similar; • Knowledge in MS Office (especially in Advanced Excel); • Good analytical skills; • Advanced level of English; • Strong motivation for development and learning; • Action Orientation and Problem-Solving attitude; • EU work permit to work in Portugal.
