For our team in the Supply Chain function, we are therefore looking for a Material Project Leader . In this position you will be accountable for the end to end management of the material planning for assigned categories. Key tasks includes but limited to: • Ensuring performance of the EMS and component suppliers. • Functioning as the escalation point of EMS, component suppliers and PMI Supply chain departments. • Initiating continuous improvement and simplification of processes which are critical to ensure component availability and optimize inventory exposure for PMI. • Establishing processes, procedures and tools for his/her area to achieve targets and objectives efficiently. • Managing material transitions caused by ECN, quality issue, product transition to achieve and exceed targets and minimize inventory exposure. Simulate scenarios and propose best option for Project team to cut in engineering change. • Managing and evaluating risk buy plan. Optimize risk buy proposal to mitigate risk for the company and at the same time achieve fulfilment target. • Creating process and tools to monitor overall EMS' material planning performance, ensuring component readiness for production. • Working with EMS to create visibility for PMI for any T2 capacity issue and propose alternative solutions to achieve OTIF KPI. • Collaborating with R & D, Quality, Engineering and Planning Team to identify opportunity to deplete excess inventory. We’re looking for someone with: o A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain or Manufacturing. Applicants with an MBA will have added advantage o 10-12 years of experience in with Manufacturing Program Management responsibilities including, Process engineering ,Operation, EMS and vendor management. o Skills in root cause analysis and follow up to corrective actions when a shortage of material impact New Products launch/production plan. o Deep experience working with suppliers, expedite and coordinate special deliveries when needed. o Excellent written and oral skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals o A track record for managing complex projects with aggressive schedules and limited resources while being detail-oriented o Ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects. o Problem solving and project management skills o Flexibility to travel ( up to 30%) What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
