MEA Regional Planning Hub, based in Izmir, Turkey, is our recently built regional Supply Chain planning powerhouse, orchestrating the planning activities in Middle East & Africa Region (Production Planning and Material Planning of Production Centers in 10 different countries and governance of Finished Goods Shipments to 45 Countries). We are looking for a Material Requirement Planner for our MEA Regional Planning Hub in Izmir who will be working at Material Requirement Planning Department in line with assigned roles and responsibilities, including Direct Materials’ Inventory Management, Project Management and Cost Management to sustain growth in business at the same time ensuring excellent customer service. Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are: • Ensure supply security (Direct Materials) according to the requirements and demand. • Review and update the supply plan proactively according to the changes in the requirements considering multiple scenarios • Provide clear communications with the stakeholders about the supply plan and manage & inform about the risks and potential actions • Manage cost effectively • Fully comply with the procedures of the company and local & international legislations • Continuously make the analysis to improve the process for supply plan by focusing on value; simplify, eliminate, automate, delegate or consolidate • Prepare presentations and supportive documents for management This position can be something for you if you recognize yourself in the below profile. • Have a university degree in Engineering, Management or in another related field • Fluent in both written and spoken English • Experienced in Planning/ Supply Chain functions is a plus • Very good command of MS Office applications. SAP knowledge is an asset • Strong drive for achievement, analytical thinking ability and problem-solving skills • Strong communication, teamwork and cooperation skills • Eager to learn new skills and to take some calculated risk in their domain for new ideas • Activating people for new ideas and new way of doing • Ability to give/take feedbacks • Completed or deferred military service for 2 years (For male candidates) At Philip Morris International, employee health and safety is our top priority.
