Your ‘day to day’ As a Logistic Process Engineer, you will ensure that processes and Logistics standards are sustainable, correctly defined and properly documented. You will identify missing links in the process and address gaps through strong collaboration with various teams in the organization. Your responsibilities include: • Design, develop and deploy logistics processes, by working with the appropriate personnel in the organization (factory logistics, manufacturing, QA, Tax, Finance, etc.) to ensure fulfillment of operational objectives, compliance requirements and other relevant standards. • Ensure existing processes fulfill the requirements and are maintained through the development of documented procedures and adequate root cause analysis including action planning, in case controlled parameters are not within expected limits. • Support Factory Logistics Manager by analyzing and proposing actions on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related problems in order to maintain processes at the optimum level, address gaps permanently and identify improvement opportunities across logistics areas. • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for re-application management and serve as the contact person for cross-functional, manufacturing and logistics regional project streams as applicable • Collaborate with project teams to improve overall factory performance and foster the implementation of global initiatives. Initiate benchmarking and external learning initiatives for improvement and knowledge sharing across factory logistics. • Identify and lead productivities, facilitate project portfolio management and stir sustainable generation of initiatives within factory logistics. Support productivity initiatives management by providing accurate and timely reports of logistics projects, including participation in stream productivity meetings. • Provide support and guidance to factory logistics team in order to improve working practices and procedures, while ensuring alignment with OPEN+, IOS pillars, EHS and other PMI standards. Proactively arrest potential issues, process and regulatory risks in collaboration with factory logistics teams and other functions. • Act as the key liaison person between finance and compliance functions to ensure regulatory requirements are fulfilled. Monitor changes in regulatory landscape, ensure the team is informed and processes upgraded in a timely manner. Who we’re looking for You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Management Engineering (or related courses). You have at least 2 to 5 years of experience working in a high volume consumer goods manufacturing company (supervisory experience is a plus). You are well-versed in Lean Manufacturing Practices (ie. TPM, IWS, IL6S, etc). You are driven, committed and passionate to level up standards and has strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skills. Good communication skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint is also required. You must also be amenable to work in Batangas Plant.
