We are looking for a Manager Business Intelligence & Data Governance PMI Duty Free who will work in Istanbul and be responsible for supporting the Head of BI & Data solutions for PMI Duty Free Data strategy validation and deployment, ensuring the consistency of the PMI DF back-end data architecture and Data Value chain supply side: taking accountability for the projects related to the data generation / acquisition, storage, integration, cleansing and processing, ensuring projects are deployed in line with PMI DF data and business strategies, promoting & defending PMI DF business interests and providing corresponding solutions for all data & BI related projects with IT and external parties. Data Value Chain: • Manage data value chain and ensure the integrity of the process across respective dimensions of data generation / acquisition, storage, integration, data cleansing and processing, data availability • In collaboration with other stakeholders, help further define / improve data requirements in order to achieve business goals 2. Business Data, BI & Reporting: • Promote best practices and existing data & BI solutions across the organization including automated and standardized analyses and reporting tools • Improve existing BI & reporting tools and solutions from traditional reporting to more advanced analytics monitoring and predictions supporting business decision-making • Ensure formalized & integrated “single sources of truth” via consistent data architecture, accessibility via dashboards, interfaces and tools 3. Data Governance project management: • In collaboration with business and respective parties, structure and identify key strategic problems to be solved with respect to the data / analytics opportunities by translating key business ideas into clear advanced analytics use-cases solutions • Take accountability for the solutions delivery and projects management • Provide support to monthly Data Governance meetings Chair This position can be something for you if you recognize yourself in the below profile. You: • Master’s/PhD or relevant degree in quantitative fields: in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in business data architecture projects, data engineering, database & ETL modeling, business data-marts design and maintenance • Industry knowledge in Consumer Goods & Services, Retail, Travel retail or technology preferred • High level of autonomy, strong entrepreneurship, collaboration skills and drive for results • Deep familiarity with data architecture and information system design principles and data frameworks such as GDPR • Experience with Cloud data & BI services and knowledge of modern Cloud and/or Big Data infrastructure is a great plus • Relevant exposure to big data technologies and understanding of key programming languages such as SQL and Python, experience with data visualization in Power BI • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & presentation skills • Strong Project management skills • Fluency in English required At Philip Morris International, employee health and safety is our top priority.
