Your ‘day to day’: The Demand Planning Analyst within Duty Free is accountable to manage forecast and inventory for assigned region. This is a central and fundamental position responsible for developing and executing Demand Plan and Inventory meeting market demand and supply chain critical metrics such as Sales Forecast accuracy, inventory and Loss on Goods Destroyed (LOGD) whilst promoting a cooperative and positive environment among all stakeholders (customers, factories, finance and marketing) • Build and maintain forecast models for the region’s portfolio, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer service and others resources. Responsible for the forecast in a challenging environment. • Improve forecasting process & tool by developing new statistical models or functionalities of current tool and developing additional reports. • Monitor network stock level of the region including stock at factory, in transit, Duty Free third party warehouse and distributor. Ensure timely production to prevent high or low stock level and take proactive action to minimize LOGD and Out of Stock • Define stock policy for each SKU through the toolbox process and conduct inventory diagnostic to identify areas of improvements and implement it. • Monitor the lifecycle of the portfolio by following up stock depletion of products withdrawal and coordinate the implementation of new projects (reinvent, new health warning ...) with Product Development, local Marketing teams and PMI Operations. • Manage portfolio of over 250’s SKUs by supervising product launches, optimizing phase-in/phase-out and portfolio rationalization. • Build a positive relationship with the Regional marketing team and Product Development and be responsible for communication to regulatory group and other key stakeholders. • Collaborate with other departments to understand demand forecast drivers and ensure accurate information is used for demand forecasts. • Assess risks on forecast and identify opportunities to mitigate risk. Prepare relevant material to enable discussion and help on prioritization between SKUs or markets. • Partake in demand meeting and Tactical S&OP meeting on monthly basis with key partners of the region to reach a consensus between business requirements and operation planning. • Act as a Supply Chain Expert in the region and strengthen relationships between operations, sales, marketing and finance. We’re looking for someone with: • Bachelor or Master Degree with preference in Supply Chain • Solid knowledge in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement or planning. • Experience in a large multinational or other international business, ideally in master scheduling, forecasting, demand planning, or supply planning • Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams or other forms of teamwork. • Strong Analytical skills • Ability to influence a variety of different stakeholders from across the globe What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
