For our Global Marketing Partnerships team in London, we are therefore looking for a Head of Global Marketplace Partnerships. In this position you will be responsible for building and maintaining the strategy for successful commercial relationships with marketplace partners, including key agency players. acting as the first point of contact with partners on a day-to-day basis. The role is accountable for developing, leading, and maintaining critical Partner relationships, defining the service level agreements and negotiating key benefits and terms on behalf of key PMI internal partners such as IT web services, eCommerce, Media Communications . Representing PMI at key industry events and networking with C-level prospects - leading the global account management of partnerships. You will: • Responsible for crafting, developing and sustaining the partnership strategy aligned with eCommerce strategy - working closely with the Commerce commercial team. • Lead and own the relationships with the key strategic partners whilst helping facilitate key introductions to business and brand owners to secure the commercial benefits eg Launch of operating model defined in eCommerce Marketplaces strategy • Drive the internal governance and secure alignment and support for the key partners across multiple PMI functions. Identify and build tangible use cases and partnership Opportunities. • Develop the engagement strategy to connect with senior executive partnership associates inclusive of building a roadmap of key industry events PMI should have representation. • Communicate PMI's Smoke Free Vision to partners and present critical and strategic mindset when leading the analysis and evaluation of partners strongly linked to business strategy • Work closely with the eCommerce team to support the delivery of integrated communication strategies to help build the brand and drive key consumer acquisition, retention programs. • Partner with other teams within the Global Consumer Organisation and other global functions such as Global Communications, IS, PM Equity etc to ensure the delivery of innovative, impactful and successful Partnership initiatives • As a commerce subject matter specialist, identify new partner opportunities that will enable us to deliver on our business strategies and commercial objectives. Encourage peers and colleagues to become disruptive innovators. • Lead and facilitate close communication and alignment with the regional Hubs to better understand PM local market requirements • Lead the development of pilots and proof of concepts across marketplace partners to be operationalized in markets including securing the right resources like budget - settle the terms and service level agreements with partners aligned with PMI governance and compliance. • Proactively driving innovation -prospecting and identification of emerging and new commerce players to explore and pilot. We're looking for someone with: • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required • Experience in a Partnership Account Executive, Business Development, or Strategic Partnerships Marketing Leading role. • Experience of working directly with online marketplaces (preferably Amazon) across a number of brands, including FMCG (marketplace, agency or brand /client side). • Demonstration of established network in Marketplaces and commerce, • Experience in negotiating joint agreements with key strategic partners and global brands, and expertise in vendor management. • Strong Partner relationship management and influencing skills • Demonstrated ability to source, launch and expand successful partnerships. • A detailed understanding of the online retail market especially Marketplace Business Models, with a particular focus on Amazon. A strong data and partnership background to understand both the opportunities and limitations of working with online retailers. • Proven experience of delivering successful projects in sophisticated matrixed organisations. • Broad digital marketing experience that is not limited to (but should include) marketplaces • Experience of easily navigating and operating across network agency operations, including encouraging matrix relationships easily.
