The Digital function is responsible for creating experiences to motivate awareness, consideration, activation, loyalty, and the Digital Services required to enable these experiences. This team is helping to establish our modern communications vision and lead the execution of new projects, capabilities and programs. Reporting to the Digital Activations Manager, the 3P Ecommerce Executive is responsible for site operations, online marketing, merchandise assortment, merchandising, promotions, and brand maintenance in Marketplaces. The executive will be working with Digital, Indirect, Omnichannel teams, Legal & External Affairs functions, and agency partners as well as 3rd Party Marketplace partners to manage and oversee the business. The candidate will provide day-to-day management of the site and collaborate on strategic leadership and guidance of eCommerce strategies in conjunction with senior advisors and report on eCommerce metrics. Your ‘day to day’ Strategy, Analysis and Planning • Define the platform’s short-term and long-term objectives and roadmap, KPI measures and targets • Develop ideas and strategies in order to maximize growth and drive device sales performance such as promotions and platform-exclusives, taking into consideration platform-specific promotional tools and limitations. • Review and monitor marketplace vendor’s campaign initiatives vis-à-vis internal initiatives in order to create an activity / campaign calendar. • In collaboration with Business Development team, create an ROI model for marketplace platforms, provide online sales forecasts across all platforms, carry out regular re-forecasts for online sales based on actual results • Research multi-channel ecommerce trends and report back to business with recommendations Implementation • Work with digital agency and Omnichannel team in maintaining and updating content, imagery and copy to the platforms • Together with Omnichannel team, develop the merchandising strategy to ensure the official store is well merchandised and updated based on the needs of the business for products to look fresh and new and / or aligned with total brand look across other channels • Work with SEO executive to ensure product pages and content improves search performance and visibility of official store • Work with the Digital Hub in setting up promotions and test thoroughly before deploying; coordinate with Indirect Retail and distributor in the implementation of promotions and initiatives. • Keep the product catalogue updated by conducting daily site maintenance to ensure product descriptions and product placements are correct, new items are posted / uploaded, and inventory is updated to avoid out-of-stock • Support Customer Care team in tracking ratings and reviews and CC-related KPIs and performance • Ensure business analytics tracking is working and aligned / integrated to internal BI to support data-driven decision making Commercial • Set and manage budget for commissions, promotional activities and tools needed to operationalize 3P marketplace platforms (e.g. Channel advisor subscription, etc) • Leads negotiation and building of relationships with 3P marketplace platform vendors (both current and new / for exploration) in collaboration with Indirect Retail and distributor Collaboration • Work with Omnichannel team to ensure platforms are aligned with overall business goals and brand/comms strategy • Work closely with external partners in close collaboration with Indirect Retail and Distributor e.g. Marketplace Marketing, Category Owners and Business development teams • Work with CRM, Omnichannel and digital agency teams in managing in-app Direct Messaging / Chat tools Reporting • Produce daily and weekly sales reports • Provide reporting dashboards for the Digital and relevant RRP workstreams • Produce other platform activity reports Who we’re looking for: • 3-5+ years of E-commerce experience • Experience in E-commerce Lazada, Shopee, and Channel Advisor platform administrative tools (Other marketplaces are a Plus) • Experience with E-commerce marketing and digital sales drivers with marketplace and channel advisors • Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting, and content management systems and processes • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative • Strong project management skills • Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
