Act as Subject Matter Expert you will contribute in tooling development aspects to meet the agreed product mechanical design requirements and international certifications. You will work closely with suppliers on new technologies, materials and tooling concepts for manufacturing plastic and metal parts and drive tools improvements and processes dedicated to development of electronic devices. - Contribute to tooling and secondary processes' development of critical mechanical components roadmaps covering the different electronic devices platforms in collaboration with the different partners from product concept to mass production. - Collaborate with manufacturing partners to build innovative tools and revamping tooling design and standards to reduce production costs. - Project scheduling to first and copy tools, define tooling strategy for production ramp up and sustaining. - Respect company compliance policies, standards and laws and ensure that external partners respect them as well. Ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature at any time. Who we're Looking for - Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Minimum of 10 years product related electronics design experience in consumer electronics. - Experience in CAD design and simulation, ideally on SolidWorks Experience in molding and die-casting and stamping processes. - Experience in leading external development partners. Experience in functional verification and validation - Demonstrated experience with plastic & metal injection molding, metal forging, metal die-casting, metal stamping and component surface treatments. - Creative and progressive thinking. In-depth knowledge of large-scale production and manufacturing is vital. - Familiar with tool DFM, Mold Flow Analysis, CpK and PPAP qualification processes. - Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
