Your day to day The IT Enterprise Analytics & Data Solution Manager is responsible for engaging with business teams to understand their requirements and impact on the existing data landscape. The role is also responsible for the Service Management, Maintenance and Governance of the data lake, data warehouse and databases. As a proven Senior Enterprise Analytics and Data Analyst with experience in data governance, management, analytics and delivery, you will work alongside internal clients and vendors in the design, build, implementation and maintenance of creative business data solutions. This person will be a strategic partner, strong business and technical communicator who leads cross functional teams of data analysts and vendor partners in their day-to-day operations as well as provides technical expertise on projects that will deliver on the business vision while adhering to and promoting the standards that govern the enterprise analytics and data space. Main responsibilities: - Understand and promote the IT Service delivery model, IT processes and IT portfolio of solutions. - Responsible for the Service Management of Data warehouse (AWS) and SQL Databases. - Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issue management plans. - Identifies potential points of contention for missed deliverables; creates and implements strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget. - Anticipates problems before they occur; defines the problem or risk; identifies possible causes; works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution. - Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. - Analytical skills and problem-solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously. - Demonstrate business analytics to manage and meet sponsor and customer needs. - Ability to balance both the "science" of how to perform project management and the "art" of project management, which is learned through experience and skill training/application. - Consult customers by leveraging available IT solutions, IT processes and IT services to enable them in executing their strategic plans. - Support or manage the design, build and deployment off IT solutions or IT processes and/or delivery of IT services by working closely with relevant functional teams, in line with the annual and long-range plans. - Leads or be part of project teams consisting of cross functional, global, and virtual groups. - Directly supervises providers, assigns responsibilities and monitor progress. - Apply relevant principles, practices, procedures and standards in order to achieve quality and compliance of solution and services. - Identify opportunities and propose innovative uses of IT solutions and IT services to address specific business issues. What's nice to have • 7+ years in a multi-national corporate environment • 5+ years of experience related with AWS and SQL management or support. • Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/ implementation and infrastructure). • Experience working in the cloud engineering team, having hands-on experience with migration and designing framework • Experience working with 3rd party vendors to implement cloud technologies. • Solid knowledge of Agile deliveries and project management. • IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases – plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement.
