We are looking for a Technical Services Supervisor who will work in İzmir and be responsible for leading a cross functional team (Process Engineering, Process Control and Digital Transformation functions) to support Autonomous Production Teams to eliminate specific losses through breakthrough initiatives and digital use cases. This role will be a key member in PMI’s Manufacturing of Future journey, with opportunities to participate in projects at local/regional/global level which can bring international exposure and career opportunities. Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are: • Lead the digital transformation team to assure that site has right amount of use cases with high quality and benefit to contribute the Manufacturing of Future journey • Build and run the necessary project-based organizations to maximize the pace and the benefit on digital use cases. • Collaborate with global and local Digi Pillar communities to assure that the teams are having the right capabilities to comply with Manufacturing of Future requirements. • Lead the process engineers to eliminate factory’s losses as Direct Material Waste and Tobacco Yield starting from executing the loss analysis to completion of breakthrough elimination projects tracked in Loss PDCAs. • Lead the team to define factory’s long-term strategies to enable the production to run with “Zero” loss on Direct Material Waste and Tobacco Waste. • Taking the responsibility of maintaining the Track & Trace systems in site • Lead the Electronic support team to eliminate the losses on specific technologies as Printing Systems and Brand Integrity Systems. • Prepare the factory budget for Direct Material Waste and Tobacco Waste along with finance team and follow up actualized costs and build necessary actions to eliminate the losses behind these cost components. • Taking appropriate actions to optimize costs and to remain within agreed parameters (budget). Recruiting, developing motivating and managing the team performance, and ensures that team members have the competencies, capabilities, and tools to consistently deliver on individual, team, and strategic objectives. Defining and implementing technical training strategy to support the required organizational development, ensuring that the required knowledge adheres to overall training plan and is aligned with the succession planning. • Ensuring the team is delivering the breakthrough loss elimination projects on time with committed benefits to maximize the contribution to site’s compelling business objectives. • Ensure the OT structure is compliant with global PMI standards and follow up the up-to-date requirements with global teams. • Leading the re-application programs within the area of expertise with a focus on quality excellence while ensuring best possible execution in term of cost, time, and risks. You: • Engineering education (university) or extensive technical knowledge • Experience in loss elimination • Experience in Equipment / Process Automation or Machine Learning models and advanced statistical techniques • Have at least 5 years of experience in Leadership roles • Adequate level of manufacturing knowledge to manage technical staff • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention for detail • Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner • Ability to comprehend and apply expenditures and budget principles Due to COVID-19, this role will start as a remote position, but it will transfer to our HQ either partially or fully, after we start to work from the office again.
