Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Hong Kong under Philip Morris Asia Limited (PMAL). PMAL operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. You will support the electronic Product Development Center (ePDC) on the consumer electronic device, as the Manager Industrialization Excellence you are accountable for developing a vision, roadmap and supporting tools for the integration of data-driven process development and Six Sigma methodologies into daily business practices across Industrialization, Engineering Operations and Quality functions. • Work closely with key manufacturing operations stakeholders to design a standardized approach of new product industrialization to deliver improvements resulting in yield, cost, quality and process. Ensure appropriate methodologies, technologies, tools, measurement, analysis and evaluation methods applied and maintained within internal team and manufacturing suppliers. • Coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma methods or other data analytics tools to engineering teams and key suppliers. • Work with cross- functional subject matter experts to define, implement and supervise relevant process development and manufacturing KPI’s as well as other operations metrics; optimize process solutions in terms of yield, cycle time, cost and quality. • Incorporate key product/ process characteristics and data analysis in all process development/ improvement to adjust process capabilities. • Establish and maintain PFMEA, SOP, WI, critical MSOP for related processes. Who we’re looking for • A university degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Automation/ Manufacturing/ Industrial or equivalent is required. • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required, Master Black Belt strongly preferred. • Solid engineering knowledge and experience (10+ year) with manufacturing process for high-volume operations in consumer electronics. Proven success in driving major manufacturing process improvements by applying analytics tools and methods across different manufacturing sites and suppliers. • Proficiency in statistics, data analytics, DOE, MSA, SPC, Minitab, PPAP, DMAIC, 8D, 5-why etc. • Consistent record of leading a multi-functional team in order to achieve new product objectives inclusive of quality, yield, volume and cost. • Strong leadership to drive supplier’s manufacturing engineering teams. • To be successful in the role, you will need to display excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in English. Chinese speaking and writing skill is a huge plus.
