We are currently looking for a P&C Head, PBS Finance supporting the PBS leadership team, the deputy-CFO & Head of Finance Transformation. You will work with PMI Business Services (PBS) leadership team to develop PBS P&C strategy, deploy key P&C products and services aligned to both functional priorities - providing consulting and change management expertise to build value, capability and competitive advantage through people ensuring that business objectives are met or exceeded. In addition, manages effective Employee and Labor Relations across the PBS Regional hubs. Your ‘day to day’ • Assess the existing Finance & PBS Operating model and design and deliver improvements relevant to the current context and future vision of co-piloting • Works with Deputy CFO& Head of Finance Transformation to shape the overall PBS strategy and gives input to support the development of appropriate PBS People Strategies based on the business requirements and translates and aligns all people and organizational aspects of the overall business strategy to PBS and functional SFS P&C plans. • Acts as Change Enabler, by providing pro-active support to successfully plan and implement business transformations or other strategic organizational change programs and provides coaching support to PBS Management regarding change management principles and leadership during periods of significant business transformation. • Serve as a strategic contributor and catalyst to re-energize the PBS Transformation change narrative by developing the right communication platforms, forums and touchpoints to engage our finance employees and market/ region/ global stakeholders across PMI • Analyzing and interpreting organization and talent data on selected projects to develop hypotheses and surface insights to deepen understanding of improvement and efficiency opportunities • Anticipates, understands business demands, analyzes and diagnoses the request, proposes, and coordinates the solution delivery, and provides advice, consulting, coaching on all business matters having an organizational or human capital management aspect. • Working closely with P&C SFS team to support the business and to improve core business processes, refine organizational structures, clarify roles and accountabilities with key stakeholders/partners etc. • Working closely with the Finance Capability lead and assisting in capability development initiatives linked to talent management outcomes for PBS • Keeping up to date on best practices and innovative programs that are relevant in driving the Diversity & Inclusion and Talent development initiatives in PBS • Facilitates PBS Talent Management process and supports PBS Management Team to ensure that the decisions taken to support organizational sustainability and talent development are in line with the company principles. • Provides input to the Workforce Plan which outlines staffing forecasts broken down by specific job groups and captures the PBS Management’s resource requirements for the business focusing also on a mid to long term perspective, and develops the strategies to meet these requirements. • Ensures productive employee/labor relations to meet company goals on short-mid and long term and contributes to the Labor Relations strategy definition. Supports line managers in handling con-flicts or difficult Employee Relations situations. • Build effective global collaboration with direct team and indirect team to ensure coverage of PBS support to all global, regional and local service locations. Key insights on current state & challenges • The role of Head of P&C PBS is responsible for business partnering with PBS, it requires someone to work across both functions and geographies. At PMI a Business Partner is not a role, it is a concept. This is not a regular People & Culture support role, it is a business leader role. The role will have two key clients, the Global Head PBS & Finance and the Deputy- CFO & Head of Finance Transformation. • There is still work to be done in moving more accountability to PBS, streamlining processes, increasing capability and trust around the function where there previously has been reluctance to hand over accountability. • The cultural journey has been started, and more headcount will be migrated to PBS, leaving only business partners in the markets. • Building a strong partnership relationships with PBS LT and their respective leadership teams. • Taking lead to support design of PBS location, OD and capability strategy across multiple locations. • Designing and building out global P&C partnering team to ensure geographic coverage and building relationships with relevant markets P&C teams where PBS operates • Promoting one PBS approach while balancing a need to ensure alignment and agility of P&C strategy to the SFS Functions. Developing and agreeing a link between P&C approach and maturity of functional and/or PBS model. • Operating at a strategic level with Line Managers to improve P&C contribution to PBS performance • Owning and resolving people escalated issues ensuring well-functioning PBS Operating Model • Ensuring effective people risk management (including relationships with works councils/Unions) in multiple locations. • Develop and sustain talent sourcing channels that are suitable for PBS workforce Who we’re looking for • MBA/MSc industrial/organization psychology or business administration. • Relevant experience (15+ years) in Organization Effectiveness , Human Resources, and/or Consulting • An experienced, strong P&C leader who can business partner with PBS and create a nothing is impossible culture. • Someone who is able to see the long-term vision, with the ability to think about the different dimensions and articulate the path of how to get there. • Be technology savvy, and able to have conversations with vendors. • Have some familiarity/exposure to working with Shared Services. • Have experience leading advanced stage transformation and change, has an experience as P&C generalist / business partner working with complex organizations that went or going through trans-formation. • Strong preference for business acumen in the Integrated business solutions/ Shared services space, as well as experience of working in consumer centric organizations. • Candidate with SSC/ IBS Transformation experience is preferred • Strong project management • Demonstrated success in leading and managing change and organization design • Pro-active, results oriented • Established ability to provide guidance and influence at a senior level in the organization What we offer Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
