Join us in our External Affairs team as Manager Public and International Affairs and you will be responsible for engaging with institutions and other external stakeholders to further improve PMI's credibility. You will work to gain support and help create the framework and environment that recognizes non-combustible tobacco products as a valid alternative for adult smokers; you will promote Philip Morris views to decision-makers and other stakeholders and ensure the development of a policy framework which supports PMIs transition to a smoke-free future. Moreover you will develop advocacy strategies, monitor policy developments at local and internal level and supports the definition of policy positions and undertake advocacy activities in line with the agreed strategy. Specific responsibilities include: • Drive and develop strategic engagement plans; • Identify legislative opportunities and challenges; • Assist with identifying and monitoring all business critical political and policy developments; • Developing key expertise areas, providing recommendations on positioning and represent PMI and promote its interests at key events (conferences, workshops, meetings); • Promote activities sought at reinforcing PMIs image, business and products awareness amongst Institutional Stakeholders Who we’re looking for: • Bachelor or Master degree in Political Science, Law, Economy or European studies, Public Administration or related subject area • At least 8 years of experience in Corporate Affairs or Government/Regulatory affairs • Experience with regulatory issues • Experience in strategic engagement planning or project management • Experience in political-related position (eg in local or EU administration/parliament). • Stakeholder management and conflict management • Good presentation skills • Strong communication skills & flexibility to understand different perspectives • Business Acumen and drive for result • Good knowledge of English and Italian languages What’s ‘nice to have’: • Agility to work in a complex and fluid environment with tight deadlines • Ability to work under pressure • Team player, positive attitude and willingness to share competencies • Entrepreneurship and attention to details What we offer: Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
