The Network Design team, based in Antwerp is a key pillar in our transformation. Existing value chains are increasingly under pressure from portfolio developments, make/buy decisions, regulatory changes and market/customer dynamics. In order to remain competitive, adaptability is key and the Network design team conducts advanced modelling of the e2e product flow from supplier through production and warehousing to the end customer determining the best location, optimal size of facilities and flow paths. In this role you will: - Define the appropriate data set for each network study in line with expected business outcome and scope addressed, support data collection and validation. - Use appropriate analytical methods, models and tools to develop flexible network scenarios and hypothesis to understand, predict and improve complex logistics operations. - Build digital twins and other horizontal product flows using Coupa Network Design tool (powered by Llamasoft) - Participate in analysis to optimize the location, size and set-up of inventory holding, decoupling, consolidation or cross-docking nodes in the E2E supply chain as well as primary & secondary distribution, while considering distributor / LSP dynamics, PMI category dynamics, cost breakdowns, shipments, (sales) volume and industry trends. - Assist Network Design Manager to deliver on project milestones and analysis including preparation of executive-level content. - Establish and maintain communication channels with cross-functional stakeholders and support leadership reviews. - Support the design of alternative network solutions that clearly articulate tradeoffs between service, cost, resilience and sustainability. - Work with external partners to stay informed on analytical methodologies and network design tools. Who are you: - You have a Bachelor or Masters degree within a Supply Chain related domain - You have 2 – 4 years experience in supply chain network design in a retail or consulting organization - Experience with SQL or understanding of database concepts is advantageous. - You have intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look up) - VBA or other coding experience is a plus - You have attention to detail and have the ability to make connections and draw conclusions - You have the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-project environment with the ability to re-prioritize effectively when necessary - You are highly motivated with the ability to work independently within a team environment What will the selection process look like? Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews. In parallel, you will be asked to complete online assessment tests*. At the end of the process, each candidate will receive the assessment results, as well as actionable feedback for their further development. *Assessment Tests The tests are integrated in the selection process to increase objectivity of the final decision making. The assessment tests for this role is a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file, and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying. Results are therefore not used for purposes of performance evaluation. • Cognitive Ability Test: Report links under three headings: 1.
