TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT - Contract Type : Permanent - Work location : Philip Morris Korea, 10, Gukjegeumyung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Korea YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ 1) Project Management lead & support • For Strategic Market Projects (Lead): Independently lead select strategic market project from end-to-end. Includes working with project sponsor to define objective and scope of project, design project phases and draft business case, on-board key stakeholders for support, form/manage project team across different functions to collectively deliver project goal. Engage as portfolio manager of various projects as necessary • For General Projects (Support): Coach cross functional project managers to ensure optimal project delivery, by providing project management methodologies, setting standards, equipping managers with processes and templates, and encouraging their use. Ensure organization is trained on new methodologies in line with Business transformation. Proactively engage and add value across project journey (project design --> set-up --> management --> BAU) to support PM as second brain of "PM" providing new perspective outside project / market / industry 2) Overall Project Governance • Establish governance standards to monitor project progress on deadlines, deliverables, resources, timelines, and outcome. • Manage interdependencies and coordination across cross-functional projects ensuring that information on project deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders. 3) Planning and communication • Organize and plan all PMO events, gathers meeting minutes from meeting owners across different regular meetings and centrally manages key decisions/follow-up items and act/track upon it if necessary (high level tracking by PMO planning / detailed follow-up by each meeting owners) • Clear calendar of expected milestones for submitting updates and management reviews. • Consolidate updated Project List with Project Charters. Liaise with RHQ & OC to ensure global PMO initiatives 4) Documentation development & management • Pro-actively identify/revisit opportunities in current documentation process/templates, develop/update templates to meet current need of PMK business, roll-out/communicate/guide teams and stabilize as BAU • Maintain all project templates and process documentations, track all updates and required enhancements, manage version control, and maintain a disciplined archival management (incl. inputting initiatives in internal project management system) 5) Reporting • Prepare portfolio reports as required by management stakeholders. • Follow up with project stakeholders where required and ensure timely availability of data to drive business insights by management WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR [Work Experience] - At least +10 years work experience of relevant experience in project management/PMO, strategy/planning role in commercial function and/or business planning, preferably in leading FMCG companies - Experience in independently driving new Ways of Working initiatives from opportunity identification / designing end-to-end plan / on-boarding key stakeholders / management of execution - Experience in managing different stakeholders across different functions/market/region [Traits & Skills] - Strong self-discipline with structured mindset to approach matters holistically, both qualitatively and quantitatively - Strong problem solver being comfortable in working in changing/ambiguous surroundings and pro-actively capturing opportunities and translating into concrete initiatives beyond given task - Strong ownership mindset with ability to take over and manage multiple tasks at the same time and proactively provide timely follow-up and raise relevant questions/issues - Natural curiosity w/ diverse knowledge and interest across various fields --> Able to connect dots of various information to interpret interdependencies to eventually drive insights/opportunities - Humble attitude who is open to listen & learn from others and other sources but at same time always has his/her own opinion with clear reasoning - Good balance of planning (incl. initiative design / research) and executional capability (incl. process set-up / mgmt. etc) - Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills to effectively engage/manage stakeholders - Business-level fluency in English required (Korean fluency preferred) - Already obtained or plans to obtain Project Management related certificate (i.e. PMP, Scrum Master) - Excellent user of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint - Experienced working on Standard waterfall and AGILE/SCRUM projects (Preferred) WHAT WE OFFER Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
