Manager P&C - Data Governance

On this role, you will ensure a consistent and proper handling of P&C data across the business enterprise. You will lead the implementation of data management practices with the necessary foundation, strategy, and structure needed to ensure that data elements (Master Data, Reference Data and Transactional Data) are handled as an asset and transformed into meaningful information. Additionally, you will govern P&C-wide data initiatives; improve and maintain data quality; make P&C-specific data decisions and lead change; comply with enterprise data policies and standards. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? • University degree in Technology, Science, Engineering or equivalent • A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a similarly scoped data management role • Deep familiarity with data architecture and information system design principles • Understanding of Data Governance and ownership principles and frameworks • Excellent documentation and communication skills, capable of engaging different levels of seniority across Business, IT and Analytics • Exceptional drive to create and improve • Excellent stakeholder management • Fluency in written and spoken English WHAT WE OFFER YOU? • Wide range of trainings, optional language classes, further education, and professional qualification support possibility • Company car or car allowance • Private medical and dental care, life insurance • Subsidized meals (Sodexo card) • Cafeteria Program • Hybrid work opportunity and flexible working arrangements • Employee pension plan • Free bike and car parking for all employees HOW WILL YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US? • Lead P&C Data Governance model in alignment with Enterprise Analytics Data • Support and work closely with Data Owners (P&C Leadership Team members) to establish Data Governance foundation and strategy for each data category • Execute process of creating definition and intended usage of each data asset, including creation/change/maintenance process • Ensure the implementation of data management standards and policies • Define record retention rules for the Data Asset, and review them yearly with Legal • Identify, assign, and replace (if needed) Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians to implement the Data Governance and Data Management activities for each Data Asset • Make connections between other departments and P&C data and have full understanding of data related dependencies and impact • Act as a key contact point for P&C data-related topics • Influence decisions to ensure that data is led in ways that support the overall goals of the organization • Ensure ongoing support with data related matters by defining training needs and needed interventions Please note that only on-line applications will be taken into consideration.
