Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Shenzhen, China. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert, Senior Engineer – Quality Control Strategy (QCS) & Process Validation to ensure the QCS approach and Manufacturing validation plans are developed in line with stage gates. Standardize and improve the QCS across the product lifecycles, develop appropriate strategies and lead projects to introduce new methodologies in order to meet business needs. Provide consultation to multiples areas of the organization on the QCS and Validation processes / methodology and latest industry standards. Responsibilities • Develop, apply and improve the methodology required to control electronic products quality and release them for commercial sale • Plan and lead the collection and evaluation of data, from the process design stage through commercial production, which establishes scientific evidence that a manufacturing process is capable of consistently delivering the specified product • Leading a cross-functional team of experts, identify the impact of materials and process variability on the product and the corresponding risk priority • Lead assigned project tasks • Via utilization of a sound understanding of the company business needs, participate in regular management reviews and act as QCS specialist and advisor • Lead improvement projects and direct internal project members (and external consultants & vendors when applicable) to ensure scopes, budgets, schedules and timelines are met, and results compliant to all the company standards • Review, evaluate and manage large quantities of technical information and existing company documents. Perform knowledge management via data compilation, review and storage in line with Company, or any other equivalent accreditation authority requirements • Achieve results by applying a high level of technical competence as a specialist in QCS where few known precedents exist and apply sound engineering solutions to meet the company technical and business needs Who we’re looking for • Engineering Degree with 5-10 years of relevant experience • Expertise in application and deployment of quality tools and methodologies (Risk Assessment, Failure Mode Analysis, 8D, CAPA) • Experience in managing the principles set out in QMS Standard ISO9001 is required, knowledge of ISO13485 (medical device) or ISO 16949 (automotive) is a plus • Understanding of standards relating with risk management (ISO 31000), or usability engineering and consumer product safety is a plus • Good command of English is a must What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
