Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed under Philip Morris Electronics Shenzhen (PMES). PMES operates as a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Inc. Be the subject matter expert (SME) based on-site at a manufacturer partner’s office in Guangdong area, accountable for the overall product quality of the assigned manufacturer partner. Responsibilities: • Ensure all quality requirements defined by the company for the manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery of electronic devices are accurately implemented and applied on-site along the entire product life cycle; Ensure products are being manufactured & delivered in fully compliance to the agreed requirements and quality systems. • Lead, supervise and contribute to manufacturing and product quality improvement programs and activities at NPI and Mass Production phrases. • As a quality expert to support supplier compliance and technical audits when needed; Provide advices to cross functions on quality related topics. • Lead the market return failure analysis and root cause analysis • Apply risk-based techniques to facilitate the validation of product quality during the device industrialization activities • Accountable and maintain the quality performance indicator dashboard. Report and review in on performance monitoring and commit to continue improvement (Monthly critical metric report / Reliability Test report… etc.) • Lead the on-site, ongoing reliability testing program for products. Ensure the products are perform and analysis according to the defined ORT plan and supervise the performance. Who we’re looking for • Bachelor degree in Electronic/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or equivalents • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt will be an advantage • 10+ years working experience in quality engineering field • Experience in high volume electronic consumer product manufacturing, with sounded knowledge in different manufacturing models (EMS/ JDM/ OEM/ ODM) • Detailed knowledge of International Quality Systems, ISO13485 quality standard of FDA is an advantage • Proficiency in quality tools and advance quality philosophy (e.g. Six Sigma/ APQP methodology) • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, influential and conflict management skills • Ability to network and influence at every organizational level, senior and peer, internally and externally • Proficiency in English and Chinese is a must What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
