Financial Analyst

As you know @PMI we're always up to new challenges! We’re recruiting a Financial Analyst for the local Finance team in the Portuguese market and we’re waiting for you! The opportunity Support the credit control, accounting and treasury activities. Support / be the co-pilot of the business through proper support, advice and financial assessment of activities and processes in the market / affiliates (including the factory). Your ‘day-to-day’ • Coordinate, in connection / alignment with our customers and our shared service center, the control and maintenance of a proper financial process of collections, on a daily basis. • Coordinate the year-end financial statutory statements process, including and support the US GAAP accounting processes • Support management decisions by providing insightful data to the relevant stakeholders. • Ensure treasury activities mainly related with petty cash, bank guarantees management and insurances. • General support to the business namely by assessing financial risks and efficiency opportunities in existing processes and new initiatives, in connection with other finance and business teams. Who we’re looking for • University Degree in Management, Finance, Economics or equivalent. • Up to 3 years of professional experience • Solid knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem solving, learning and decision- making skills. • Fluent in English and Portuguese • Knowledge of SNC and US GAAP preferred • Valid EU work permit.
